That's really sad. Two young people dead, just going home after a night of fun due to the negligence of a dumb driver. Tomorrow is promised to no man indeed.
It's not necessarily "female privilege", a friend of mine lost his son in a boating accident. The son was 20 years old and with some friends on the lake at night and another boat sped thru and ran over them killing 4 and injuring 2 boys. The driver of the other boat was uninjured and fought against a manslaughter charge, he would up pleading down and having to serve 3 years, but it was spread out over weekends, Friday evening until Monday morning until his time was served. The lawyer argued that the driver was a business owner and if he went to jail almost a dozen people would lose their jobs and his business would be ruined by the time he got out of jail.
Yeah he killed a mother and her daughter in Northern Ireland by driving on the wrong side of the road. He didn't even get jail time he just had to pay a fine and it was only like around 200 pounds. This was in the early 90's or late 80's and apparently he still visits Ireland cause he's got a holiday home here. Crazy
@@Teabagsforlife He even offered/agreed to meet with members of the victims' family at one point, then backed out with no explanation. ...cue some 20yrs later or so, and he's doing a Honda car commercial for the Superbowl 😳 the man is either a moron, a sociopath, or some horrible combination of both...😒
@@comanchio1976 I didn't know that but it makes sense that he backed out. He probably only agreed to see them because it made him look like he cared, but once enough time went by, people forgot so he didn't bother visiting them. I think hes both a moron and a sociopath because of the fact he just continued coming back to Ireland for holidays like nothing happend
That's not that good of an example of female privileged. one of my male classmates in 1999 lost control and jumped a center divider with his skylark and decapitated a mother of 3 with the kids in the vehicle with her. he got a similar sentence. the father didn't press charges. he didn't want more lives to be ruined over an accident.

Guy here near Toronto got like 5 years DUI, killed Grandpa and 2 little kids. Repeat offender, was out in 2-3 years!
