Gary should have a word with FuelTech about incorporating an Air-Brake strategy directly from the FT-ECU. They seem like the type of company to jump right on-board with adding that type of functionality to their products. I was going to mention 3D printing extensions for Marcus's wing. Would be well easy to trace the silhouette, stick it CAD and have a pair printed out in a day or so, ready to bolt on and fill the joins. That would save Gary having to carve them out of foam. EscorTVR looking great/mental as always Gary. 👍🏾
Some real skilled work and engineering going on in Gary's garage. Reading between the lines, I guess there has been some less than positive comments from some internet keyboard warriors. Glad it just motivates Gary to work harder trolling the trolls ! 🙌
nowhere near finished yet mate. all the carbon has to come off to be prepped for clear lacquer , the doors have to some off to be lined up properly anad the shell needs polishing plus al lthe wiring to get finished

I was at Garys place to pick up a mk2 spoiler which funny enough i fitted yesterday 😂 My son and myself were well impressed with garys car and i'm tempted to buy some carbon bits in the future for sure👍
Love the look of the car the re- design of the body work all ties in togeather old skool look with modern materials with the active wing and the grenade on the tow bar reminds me of a world war spit fire vibe with the green maybe he should get some shark teeth or pin up girls airbrushed on the body work nice car 👍🏻👍🏻🔥🔥

going to see if i can get my fueltech ecu to control the spoiler so the faster you go the more downforce it'll create instead of it be set in one position or me manually adjusting it with the switch its currently connected too

I’m no fan of “silhouette “ racers in general, but that’s a very well put together car, max respect ( but it’s not a mk1 escort, just like a McGuire isn’t really a Sunbeam Stilletto, etc etc, if you know you know 😂)

There’s not many options for the wedge I know avo used to do a set but not sure they still do. I’m opting for a t5 for mine I was looking at the 5.3l Chevy v8 as a future option also 👍🏻
@@user-fd1sd7hr9o yes got the 5 speed from an e46 diesel as there really strong not like the other boxes. chap i got the conversion kit off and the box runs the same set up in his drift car running 700hp and he hasnt blown a box up yet. yes got gaz all round. if you go LS get the all alloy version as there pretty much the same weight as a rover v8. mines cast block so fair bit heavier which isnt a bad thing as the car is pretty light
That’s to be determined but Garry is determined to actually have the car legal, rather than just not mentioning it to the DVLA (which I respect). Essentially it’s just a TVR with a body swap and an engine conversion. The TVRs have a bolt on fibreglass body as standard. 👍

technically it should retain its tvr registration as its classed as a bodystyle change. if dvla want to be w*****s they could put it on a Q. a Q is not the end of the world though. just means its 100% legit and ok'd by dvla but would have to mot and tax it every year. thats the only downside as its 40 years old next year

It’s a Chevy small block it will be iron block alloy heads the Americans call it vortex 5300. It’s a 5.3l based on Ls also called mini Ls in America 👍🏻

thats top secret mate 😂all i say is ive upgraded to a btr diff. gearbox is bmw 5 speed diesel.
