Hey Cheech, do you guys have a still waters basics video where you go over leaders and lines? I want to get into more still water stuff, but I don't really know where to start. Also. I just picked up the Lamson Liquid three pack for my still water setup. What three lines would you recommend I purchase first?
It's the 9'6" 6 wt. It's a cannon for longer stillwater rigs as well as streamer rigs. I'm still probably preferable for the 10' 6 wt Sage X but I think the Igniter is gonna be my big dry fly rod and likely streamer rod of choice this year....
I have the Igniter in a 6wt 9’ version for streamer fishing on rivers. Yes, it generates incredible speed. A cannon for sure. If you get a chance to fish a Scott Centric 6wt 10’ in Stillwater I’d love to hear your thoughts on comparing it to the Sage X 6wt 10 ft rod you mentioned. I’ve kicked myself for not choosing the 9’6” Igniter so I could use it on Stillwater as well. It looked like it served you well.
Good job Brig.

Curtis, was that a Sage Igniter you were fishing? Thanks!
That new fly line looks very intriguing. Thanks for introducing it to us.

Buzzword for 2021 stillwater fishers: BoWtiE BuZZZZER!!
Would you guys recommend this line over other midge tip lines for the stillwater nymphing method you guys do?
Water looks low for this time of year.
Good to see a Stillwater video without Bobbers.
