- The end of my LEGO Storage Unit is near as I begin bringing things to my house, Mel arrives for BRICK CONVENTION and we have a fun afternoon at the LEGO Store/a surprisingly cool Orlando LEGO Convention! Oh and Sands.

The Lego storage unit era was a beautiful one but as they say, all good things must come to an end. And the Lego storage did God's work for the situation that you were in...not to mention it's solid vlog content
I was able to meet Mel and his Dad at BrickFest in AZ this year, he is a genuinely nice guy, and was super nice to my brother and his service dog
Clone Wars movie era and Revenge of the Sith era was peak star wars figure times. They were just pumping out figures. Shelves and shelves of deep pegs of every character you could think of and more.

You know Ryan’s made it when he friends with a legend like Mel! Daron Worldwide products like that NASA set are actually pretty good! They even have UPS truck and military jet fighter sets! They don’t just copy Lego though but rather make actual diecast planes, 3D puzzles of buildings, and NYC stuff like NYPD vehicles, MTA buses, taxis, and garbage trucks (since they’re based in New Jersey). I’ve gotten many of their products.

We were there before they opened Saturday at Brickcon. Saw Mel and said hey to him. Nice guy. Good solid builds. Hated not seeing you there Ryan as that would have been cool. We left after an hour and half bc that place got very crowded. Very cool that you were hanging out with him before hand.
I go to acme superstore all the time with my family to see if they ever have any good Lego (they never do) but mainly just to look around at all the cool stuff. But i wish i had been there at the same time you went!!!

I met Mel at the convention last Sunday. He is a lovely person. I enjoyed seeing all the displays at the convention!
If I ever move into a house... one room will be the mature adult room, and everything else is LEGO!
I ended up buying one of the exact same “drawer unit” as you have at ikea while looking for one like yours lol
I’d like to get a big 20 wide inch by 20 inc deep 20inc tall glass display case that can be stacked like 4 tall or so cause I have a shelf that’s about that size but it is just a shelf not a sealed case so it gathers tons of dust
