Masachika perfectly compliments Alya who is a genius, and extremely hard worker academically, but struggles to connect with others, and has a tendency to look down on them. When she’s at her lowest, she can always rely on him to come and save the day. “This is why you’re alone you say these things in a language no one understands.” is one of the most hard lines i have seen in a romcom for a while.

@@ivansolodyankin6820 true but also who was teaching him. “Masha” (allegedly his childhood friend) didn’t know Japanese back then and Kuze also at first didn’t know Russian. I also don’t think his grandpa or anyone in his family would have known it either, the part that makes him a prodigy is the fact that it’s implied that he was self taught up until the point he was fluent enough to learn directly from his childhood friend without being able to use his first language. Most kids aren’t capable of learning another language on their own and are often taught by parents and stuff the fact that it implies he taught himself to the point he could learn the rest from someone who could only speak that language he chose to learn and got to the point he could maintain understanding of practically everything he hears said perfectly despite obviously not using the language regularly until getting into highschool. Shows basically how impressive that feat is! kids do learn things faster but they also need to be taught hence why schools have teachers.

This episode was really great! I really liked Alya and Masachika's interactions with Alya literally confessing her feelings to him directly just with a different language that she doesn't think that he understands is really a good progression in romcoms that you usually don't see. I wonder how Masachika will do about this after knowing her confession to him. I also really found it funny how he hasn't cleared his relationship with Yuki telling her that she's his sister. 😂😂

Starting with Masachika suou he was once and smart strong who aced in most if not all subjects such as piano and karate, but never really enjoyed it and was only doing it to get his mother's praise and she slowly stopped giving praise which made masa slowly give up and the father and mother divorced and he wanted to move in with his dad Yuki time. Yuki has asthma her whole youth and decided to stay with her mother and was forced to be like masa, perfect, and Yumi (Yuki + masa mother) told Yuki to tell people that masa was a childhood friend not sibling to protect their reputation
Masachika was not getting out of joining the student council no matter what. Everyone wants him on there and after today i think everyone sees why. He might not be the smartest academically, but he makes up for it in his interpersonal, and social skills which is pretty rare for a romcom anime. Dude could probably make peace in the Middle East.

Chat is most likely Yuki fans that really brainrotted on them, and it's been 2 episodes since she was shown on screen only except her slight backstory with Masachika. I just realized that Kuze literally influenced Alya to work with him just like Ayanakoji would, he caught her at her lowest point and then helped her, afterwards declaring that he would also be by her side and never leave her (literally Ayanakoji and Karuizawa).
Honestly no crazy plot twist today put honestly one of the best anime episodes for progression for the story now… here’s to hoping more Wincest peak moments comes next week 🗿
