Yes, that happens because the square light that projects the caustics is covering the whole pool. It should be done with two independent light sources, one for the sun area and other one for the shadow area. All that trickery is needed because those are nothing but fake caustics, just projections. D5 won't raytrace real caustics (unlike Chaos Vantage does). Here in d5 caustics are not seen from the GI, but just from direct light sources. That's why the effect is so neatly updated in realtime, because are just a projector.
I have an image of my grandparents i want cast a glass which projects caustic image of my them. So, is there any possibility that your tool provides some sort of reverse engineered thing from 3d to 2d like you explained in the part 00:12-00:47 What are Caustics.
3:32 quando a água esta na sombra não gera caustics na mesma intensidade, apenas na parte que pega o sol, foi representado errado ali

Great🎉
Just great!
Please support importing animation camera as alembic or fbx
Great
o único problema que a luz do sol do D5 Render não gera o caustics na piscina, precisa ser colocado uma luz artificial mesmo pegando luz do sol
Vectorworks please, this will be great
great job👍
