It was great to see several of my favorite super underrated cards, most of them from Ben: - Prismatic Omen is a perfect color fixer for pretty much every 3+ color deck - Codex Shredder immediately makes all the one mana tutors worthless since you can mill the card right after the tutors resolve - Reforge the Soul is a wonderful wheel, especially because it brings everyone back to 7 instead of only drawing as many as you discarded - City of Solitude is a _super_ underrated protection piece: nobody can cast spells nor activate abilities on other players' turns, _including mana abilities_ . This is such strong protection, even beyond Grand Abolisher or Conqueror's Flail. Players can't generate mana on other players' turns, thus can't pay mana costs, and so it even combos well with things like Erratic Portal and Crystal Shard, since they can't pay the 1 to stop them. - Soul's Majesty is the OG Return of the Wildspeaker, and I'm still surprised that people don't just play both together. They're such strong draw spells for voltron or fatty strats. - Faith's Reward is not only a great combo piece as seen here, but it's also great to hold up in case of board wipes. Another similar card is Second Sunrise, though that one is more combo piece and less protection, since it returns all players' things that died and not only your own. Brought Back is another option for less mana, but only brings back two things instead of everything.

I had someone Chaos Warp my Authority of the Consuls and after shuffling and flipping my deck revealed... Authority of the Consuls. And a different time someone Warped my Iona (pre-ban) into Elesh Norn, leaving him still unable to cast his Animar. Chaos Warp is a great card but it *can* backfire epically.

@@afspeellijstnaruto things like together forever and mana cost reducers with an artifact that you can sacrifice for mana gets the tokens flowing. I based my deck on the ozolith and things to make modular a recurring thing. I've since added more eggs to spend up card draw and a few more wheels. Yes there are some high end value cards to make it tic but against Simic decks boros already needed that. Some of the board wipes don't touch artifacts so that also helps. It's mighty fun to cast silence, sacrifice my most of my board then second sunrise, do it again and then have a huge commander or other threat smash in!
And all this crap happened because Kris has tapped Wasteland for some reason instead of other land. If he left it untapped, there was no need for Warping Omen, as Valakut was in check, and thus, no Omniscience.
You can argue that these crazy games can only occur thanks to things like Chaos Warp (fun times for some people); But I'm still glad I sold my copy, it screws me over more times than not.
The Krosan Grip resolved. Assassin’s Trophy on the stack, he grips his targets, both grips resolve, trophy still on the stack, he swats it. Split second only prevents things from being done while it’s on the stack.

When resolving multiple spells in a stack, a player also receives priority after a spell has resolved. So in this case, dude casts k-grip, no one can respond, it then resolves. He receives priority again, and then casts the next spell. How it usually plays out in practice is, players cast a bunch spells, make a huge stack and resolve it all at once. But this is usually because people are out of interaction

Atogatog is one of my favorite card arts. Zabaz is one of my favorite decks always good to see it getting played.
Ik bought quite a bit of modern horiz. 2 when it came out and pulled a Zabaz. No clue how to abuse the whole ' modular' thing in boros colours tbh.

Once it's resolved you can continue casting spells. Split second only applies while it's on the stack.
