Allen Bradley 1747-UIC
Ethernet CAT5 cable.
Both hardware and software in this video were obsolete long before 2021.
I do not even have the software. The computer (with the software) in this video actually is not mine.

I have a panel view micro 300 with FRN 4.20 and I am going to replace it with another panel view micro 300, the same model, but with FRN 4.41. I am going to back it up and upload the I support the new one, my question is, is there any problem with the fact that the FRN are different?
@MASTER PROGRAMMER: Thank you for your kind words and your subscription to my channel. It’s very normal for newer exact same model HMI’s to have higher firmware. It will accept the HMI application you got from the old HMI for sure without any problems. That’s how it should be. If it’s the other way around, you for sure will get a lot of problems.

@ScottWilliams-u8l: Glad I could help. You can try to get it from Rockwell Automation website. However it is too old. I am not sure if it is compatible with Windows 10.

Later version of RSLinx might not support the long obsolete PanelBuilder32.

@@SYPHOANG I contacted them, but they could not provide me this version of the software as its obsolete. I need it for the panelview 1000 hmi backup. Is there any way you could help me obtain this software?
@edvinasjablonskis2054: I am not sure where you are but I am in the U.S. and was able to get the. software from Allen Bradley website. I don't think the software version really matters. You can try to get the version that still available. Hopefully it will work out for you.

@Karlitos B: I think so but never saw any old one with ethernet.
That is not a CAT5 cable. It needs to be a 1747-C13 or similar cable. I've seen too many 1747-UIC adapters destroyed because someone used a standard ethernet cable.
@rickr911: Thank you for your comment. But I used the exact same CAT5 cable on my computer, ethernet switch or Panelview Plus 7 HMI in this video.
