Chungha is probably one of the most successful members of I.O.I. (at least musicially since some have excelled in acting). During Produce 101 she really stood out for her ability to dance. You can certainly see it in Bicycle. She was also a contestant on the show Hit The Stage, where idols teamed up with dance crews. My favorite song off her new album is "Crazy Like You", though I'm a bit biased due to the featured artist on that one, since it is Bibi. You have slowing been getting through all of the major female soloists. The other ones I would suggest checking out include Hyuna (who should have a release later this month), Heize (who just released an album a week or two ago, with the title track Undo), Lee Hi (had a major release last year, but I suggest checking out her killing voice), and Ailee (again, I would go with her killing voice). Heize and Chungha just appeared together on Amazing Saturday to promote both their albums (which was their second full album for both of them).

She’s also very respectful of her dancers, who she prefers they be caller dancers & not just backup dancers. “Dream of You” with R3HAB shows her more dancing side & is an all English pre-release & has a great performance video that’s basically a music video. “Snapping” shows more of a mix between her bright & dark sides. “Killing Me” is much darker & a much more mature single. “Play” & really all of her other singles MVs are also pretty awesome!

"Bicycle" is suggestive sure - but in a playful way. In my mind the song is an expression of taking charge. Sure, sex is the first thing that jumps to mind because it's funny and obviously visually appealing. But everything she is talking about could be attributed to her career. She works hard, she makes her own decisions, and she's going to ride that wave of fame and take us with her because we like it when she rides it. I dunno, the context is suggestive to be sure, but mostly because it's fun. I think there is more weight to the lyrics than that

Since you're a video editor, I'd like your opinion on my opinion about this video: I felt like there should be a seizure warning on this. It was cool as hell, but it was so frenetic that it - and other videos with this style - make me feel like they don't want you to be able to focus on anything. For me, if I have to download the video and go slow-mo just to see everything, a lot of that stuff is just wasted. I think that I'm more representative of the general viewing audience than video editors - ;) - and that, while, like I said, this is cool as hell, that they may be subverting their broader appeal with videos like this. If they're going for a niche audience, then great, but I doubt that they really want to limit their overall appeal. Am I missing something here?
Yeah, the seizure warning would've been a nice idea, the editing is very chaotic, tons of fast/hard cuts and very flashy overall, these type of videos are the equivalent of going into a trance, Chunga Ha is basically a drug in Bicycle that we as the viewers all get to experience haha
