you can run an XG speed sensor and just change the pulse/rev for the speedo settings in the tune. im sure you've figured this out by now lol but figured it's worth saying anyway...

I had the Fairlane with the "Beam me up Scotty dash" & loved it but HATED the donk. If I knew there was a $15K fix, I would have done it& still had it to this day …………. hindsight hey !

What do you think is costs to build a car
I would call a budget build where you use salvaged/used, and leftover parts, and making everything you possibly can by yourself or help of friends/contacts by any cheap means... 15K AUD is here like half year salary, but guess someone in abu dhabi etc. could call a budget build by buying 10 lambos, fefes etc. from exchage coins. >.> I KNOW exactly what my "budget" build cost so far: Project/car ('73 ford) for 180€, then sold engine from it for +200e, so thats a free car(shell) and +20e for me. Bought another dismantled car (5.cyl turbo) for engine and accessories for 500e (still selling the parts i dont need from it, +140e so far), 380e new clutch kit & used flywheel, used rwd gearbox, propshaft, oil pan & accessories 300e, throttlebody 10e, better injectors & exhaust manifold 50e. Still need aftermarket engine management ~500-1000?e(could also use stock ecu from dismantled car, then 0e) and new used turbo 0-300?e(which had been sold from the dismantled car unfortunately), so that makes estimated max. total cost ~2740€/3098usd/4332aud, without adding parts that i have sold. Sure my budget car is NOT going to make 500hp on stock engine, but IF spent even some few hundred extra funding on it (new rods atleast), im positively sure it is possible, and it still wouldn't be even half of 15K AUD... Well anyways/whatever i like the sleeper falcon, budget or not.

tunastrike11 that’s not a 200 fella. It’s a 4.0lt twin cam turbo from a ba-fgx falcon Xr6t. Well actually a territory motor, but essentially the same thing except for the sump.
He's talking about the stock motor it had, my mum had an XD Fairmont, those motors were absolutely terrible.
Barra is a totally different beast.

The fishing rod holders are classy! Vic Roads engineers tell me they are fine for pedestrian safety..I think they must be on drugs...
The damage these rocket launchers did to my brothers leg when he was knocked down at a crosswalk, was terrible. 1 of the tubes collapsed with 2 inches of flesh inside it. If the car had not had them fitted, he would have had scratches from the road. Instead, he got a circular scar from 1 and a huge scar from the other, and missing a chunk of leg. Am I anti rod holder? fuck yeah.

zook 357 At the end of the day everyone is responsible for their own safety. Unless it was a deliberate attack, he should have looked where he was walking and assessed the possible dangers. Rod holders, blowers, bonnet scoops, shit even razor sharp sills should be be legal because don't assume someone has seen you and can stop in time. LOOK WHERE THE FUCK YOU ARE GOING! survival of the fittest is how we got here in the first place. Imo
Mik mate I understand what you're saying but that's simply not viable these days. Insurance companies and the government prefer for safety to be proactive rather than reactive, meaning that reducing the risk of serious injury in the event of a collision is a much better option than hoping people are able to not get hurt in the first place.
