Anyone else noticed the similarities with Walter, Wortox and Wendy to Woodie, Wormwood and Wolfgang? The underpowered canadian gets a much needed buff to their abilities, the underrated support character gets more utility with supporting and fighting and the already powerful character gets pretty subpar skills do to them already being peak.
Yea the characters in general were very unbalanced, you had characters like Wolfgang that were basically the easy mode of the game, meanwhile you had characters like willow that basically felt like they did nothing, or wormwood which was an unintentional challenge run So klei here attempted to balance all characters without nerfing purely by buffing them all, the already strong characters got a small buff meanwhile the underpowered characters like willow got a massive over the top buff bringing them in an equal level
i mean if they implement the dark pedal armor giving your headslot DR to abigail it makes wendy EXTREMELY good for bossing. between a beefalo for damage and Abigail then being able to tank a SIGNIFIGANT amount of damage
yeah, I only went to see her craft after the video, it really is a pain, but if you do it using the cheese method, or even swap the ickers for honey, you can achieve the round ickers
Walter's finally going to be perk soup...with just the right spices! I'm thinking of finally giving him a go and using his "downside" of losing sanity easily to more efficiently farm the sweet nightmare fuel.
Im loving the slingshot so much with the thulecite frame, you have everything covered, i would still fight with a darksword for main damage but swap to the slingshot for aoe/status effects, and this is without even mentioning the insane utility it provides outside boss encounters, its really fun

@kingkurasaki4095 for icky yes but glass, gunpowder, marble and thulicate is not easy to mass produce until late game and bosses require these 3 ammo mainly
@@turhanevirgen506 Yeah I hope we get a good balance there, maybe the ones getting "nerfed" on the amount are going to be post-rift like pure and icker ammos, but pre-rift will stay the same. Those 40 gold rounds for each gold in early, and 40 cursed rounds for 1 thulecite fragment are a juicy QoL change.
@@gena_sealovPost rift they're so easy to obtain, one Icker jar gives you 40 pellets if you have the efficiency skill, and each round slows down enemies for 5 minutes, so you'll only need 2 or 3 for a boss fight The hard part is actually activating rifts
He is "boring" compared to melee where you have to dodge and shit, but the insane amount of resources and farm you save as ranged is really good, thats why at first he came out extremely nerfed. As a walter main myself there are times where I barely wasted any armor fighting bosses, and that was pre-skill tree Walter. Now you could just mill through the bosses barely having to farm for armor and heals unlike other characters
just play with friends, bosses last the amount they should (much less) and you can be a sniper and support. While it being really cool with normal enemies

The only issue is that you have to beat fw once for icker rounds. Honey rounds should work too but less efficient

20 would be ok specifically for the icker rounds just because of how laughably easy they are to amass
