Not sure why Klei keeps insisting on this murder thing. I get it, it's a callback to solo DS, but it's just not working. And it's becoming yet another Shadow Affinity that is laughably bad compared to the Lunar side.
Walter woby skills and the entire wendy skill tree are the ones that needed the work and glad they are doing it. Curious on what the end result will be
That bit of transparency they gave on the hotfix post was an amazing read. I can only hope they keep it up. Really looking forward to the future skill trees, especially Webber's.

@@TheBeard777 isnt that what she does anyway? She hits single targets for massive damage just like greater gestalts. All i said was she should be able to hit shadow creatures like crawling horrors and terror beaks with these attacks at least with the rift potions applied to her
Not for him as a character, no, but the endgame affinities are still being worked on. We will know more about what to be truly concerned for once they do their bigger Hotfix next week.
I really feel like they need to make one of the strong brew perks let abigale have two potions active at once. Spectral Cure-All is alreadt the single best combat focused potion, and all of the other potions are combat focused, so they just never get used. Changing some of the potion effects to something useful (like how vigor mortis speed boost is nearly useless) and allowing multiple to be used at once would allow for some potion diversity. Sure nightshade nostrum is the 2nd best, but its completely useless at night, so it wouldnt change the best potion combo to be going from spectral cure-all to spectral cure-all + nightshade. I honestly think changing vigor mortis inti something that maybe changes abigail's aoe would be neat.
Klei is having a difficult time making their I, II, and III tiers of the "same" Skills actually do something unique lately. It's very noticable and it's really making me hate their lack of effort on already questionable Skilltree implementation anyways.

These fixes do seem great, I only wish that Klei would add some kind of "target specific" Rile-up command so that Abigail won't attack neutral mobs, like pigmen or bees, while riled up. Anyway, great video! Fingers crossed that the skill trees get all those bugs stomped and imperfections polished off. (Also, new character skins? 👀)

Woodie's is what every single Skilltree should've based their foundations off of. His sees more refinement of what he already has versus just adding more stuff to play with, use, and or abuse. Does he have some of that? Oh for sure but it all is grounded in him as a lumberjack who is a little too nuts for wood...
I still think the Knapsacker for wortox should be replaced with something else that makes more sense than a weird looking weapon. Maybe something like a craftable krampus sack or a pitchfork weapon?
Just turn the Knabsack into a weaponized backpack and we're already halfway done. Come on, Klei, you don't just slap a smaller Krampus sack onto a stick and NOT give it a unique inventory
Wouldn't be surprised to see his be one of the last. Perhaps him and Wes as a tandem if klei reverts back to doing only two trees per next year? Webber+Warly, Wicker+WX, Maxwell+Wes?
@@TheBeard777 well, if you look at her skill tree, most of the skills are just stat boosts for catapults and done badly since manual targeting is just straight the best way to go because of highest attack speed. It's really bloated with minimal upgrades that could've been either base game for her, or combined into one. Some of the upgrades are just simply worthless like the one that provides less passive generator drain. Or the fact that her light has 2 separate upgrades that could've been one. If you look at that tree it looks amazing, onece you play and use it, it essentially is 2-3 skills just very bloated. It makes me sad really. Look at the other characters, most skillpoint give you some nice content to play with.
I wanna just add, that her catapults turning off automatically is just a hassle for her. I think it was made so winonna is not really a switch character, but it just makes game feel crappy even for her... I would love to see more structures, traps maybe or other fancy construction stuff since it's her thing. I feel like her gameplay is very linear, not much variety. The alignment skills are very cool, but that's like 1/3 of the skill tree :/
Why don’t they just give Bartox a special flute he can make One that is cheap enough to not be worse than just getting a deconstruction staff and crafting a new one
i really like wendys design but damn none of this skill tree entices me at all, not saying its bad its definitely not just annoyed cuz i like the character so much, exact same issue i have with webber where i LOVE him as a character but in gameplay i just find it not for me
Wendy needed more than just moving graves, refining petals, and having more command over her sister, yeah. Something more related to her affinity to the afterlife would suffice or more ghost perks to make them actually interesting outside of just full moons.

Wendy’s third shadow skill should allow her to turn Abi into a shadow via a night light to be a proper opposite to the gestalt skill in my opinion.

Abigail getting benefits from armor & helmet would be broken, she might be able to solo low tier bosses when that happen.
