Yall hating on the 3.0 is crazy work. Workflow is way better, it’s a reason DAWs are the way they are. When the desktop software hit 3.0 I think we going to see more people switching over to the Mac/Pc software as well.

Now as far as the MPC 3 software..when it comes out and if akai doesn’t make sure the standalone and software versions are not as close as possible in design, asethetics, and features then drastically changing it is dumb. The issue ain’t getting used to it eventually the issue is from the time they released the mpc software/hardware model they keep completely changing it. From the ren to the mpx and live and now possibly this

Since im a controller mode Hybrid guy im waiting paitiently to join the fun.....hopefully Akai/MPC allows VST 3 plugins to finally work in the DAW amd then it will be a dream come true for myself.
Because you can only use the 16 pads, that’s it. And, you can’t use a keyboard or controller to control sample. With Keygroups you can play the note across every key in your keyboard and you can use feature like Pad Perform to place sample in desired scale, cords, and progressions. Simply using 16 levels, you can’t do that..
Boloooooooo imma be real I’ve had my key 37 for about a month it came with 2.0 or something on it and it was cool but a little confusing at first coming from only ever using a DAW. I upgraded to 3.0 3 days ago because Bolooooooo recommended a guy named Malo Beats and he using 3.0 so I got the beta and 3.0 is definitely better for people who come from DAW’s now however if your already used to the older work flows or don’t like DAW work flow then I get it but 3.0 is hands down easier. Now can we plzzzzzzzzzz get the 3.0 plugin for windows and Mac because that’s still in 2.0 and I have the weirdest work flow for plugins and I still have to use 2.0 unfortunately will in controller mode

@@BoloDaProducer much respect but, the beta did my X wrong. I removed all external devices and played it safe… I downloaded the 3.0 and it crashed within one hour of trying it out. I went back to 2.0 and plugged everything back up, my X crashed within a hour on the 2.0 This time my thumb drive got whipped.. I had 95% of it backed up. So you saying it’s Beta doesn’t help the peeps. I don’t wish this to helping to anyone….. It’s not worth it yet in my option. Al wait.. so like I said Bolo, it’s Trash at this point….

Yeah I got the mpc because I wanted an mpc. If I want to use a daw I’ll just use ableton

Ya. But mpc3 has a hard time saving the work. I keep getting save error messages after hours of work.
I have not had any trouble with that yet, try saving project first then turn on auto save
