I started out with a harbor freight polisher and then went to dewalt. HF, will get the job done cheap if you only need it once or twice. But if it's something you're going to be using regularly, spend the money and get a good one. That's just my opinion of course.

I have this polisher & same brand pads, but the back of pads the white that sticks to the polisher keeps coming off my pads and I can’t reuse them anymore?
Where do you get the correct pad for cutting &buffing. I’m getting this buffer and changing grease in the gear box , should be fine for once a year polishing . What do you think
Changed the grease to hi temp lithium in the gear box and swapped the backing pad, total :$ 16.00 improved 100% no vibration and quieter. Paid $59.00 w/coupon for HF polisher, still cheaper $$$ than so called professional polishers “ Porter Cable, Griots, Dewalt, Wen” all made in ASIA!!!

The speed you used with the black pad is the speed you should have used with the yellow pad. I’m not a pro my self, but I like my car looking nice to 👍🏽
i have the HF DA polisher and that thing burns through pads after awhile. i even upgraded the disc to the lake country and it still burned through the pads. curious of how this Braun works
Hello! i want to paint correct my car using a DA polisher, i dont mind the vibrations because i dont want to pay more than 100 for a polisher plus all the aditaments for something i will use just once. so i want to buy this bauer polisher if the price is good but i can not find it cheap in my country , i have seen only the GALAX PRO polisher which has the exact same specs and it looks exactly the same as the buaer one just different color it has 4.3 stars on amazon but i have not seen a single video here on youtube on that polisher and it is beins sold for US $50 dlls. so do you think bauer rebranded its polisher?

I have a fair amount of HF tools. That's good advice for most HF tools (good for limited use, but not ideal for frequent use).
Congrats my dude, you are living proof that when you live your life a quarter mile at a time, you ain't got time for an expensive polisher.

I got one and it’s pretty easy to use and I got great results with chemical guys pads and m205 easy peezy with amazing finish

The good thing about the Meguiars Ultimates is that they are to be used by hand, so with a buffer it would work better

Hey I just bought this and want to polish my truck I got it yesterday but I don’t know what pads/compounds to get can you help me ?
it would help if you took the time to make sure your pad was centered better on the plate.... and 1 is for spreading 4 plus is for cutting...

I just got one of these. I used 205 and 105. I’ve never used one before and my bad paint looks much better. This thing does shake really bad.
Change grease to Red Guard and replace backing plate to lake county 5in or 6in.

Higher end DA polishers like Rupes still vibrate like that and wear out your hands
