hi, can you please share your knowledge on how to transfer files from a laptop with a broken display to a chrome book? In other words, Data transfer from a totally working windows laptop but no display ( black and blue screen) to a chrome book.
Without being able to see what you're doing, transferring files in any way would be very difficult. I would recommend connecting an external monitor to the laptop using the HDMI or USB C port on it. Then you can use the laptop as though it's a desktop computer with the monitor, and transfer the files using one of the methods in this video. You could even plug it into a TV or something if you don't have a spare monitor. The other option would probably be to take it to a computer repair store and have them remove the hard drive and get the files off it, but that's a lot more complicated to do.
Thanks Timmy, that will help me a lot to do what i want, great explanation as usual
I'm glad to hear it!

You're welcome!
is there any way to transfer files between chromebook and windows with a usb cable?
Not that I know of, but if you do some googling there might be some obscure method out there.
@@techtimewithtimmy nope, i searched it and some guy said that chromebook is a primary machine like pc and NOT like a mobile phone
Yeah, I had a feeling it would be something like that, but thought there may be some kind of work around as you can install Android apps. Perhaps not.
@@techtimewithtimmy yup, but may be its a developers' secret, who knows!?
@@techtimewithtimmy Anyway, Thanks for replying to my query :)
