  • Deleted Minidisc and failed TOC error fix - Part2. Data Recovery Fix - MD
There are 3 main causes of minidisc failure that will result in a disc that shows up as a ‘blanc disc’, ‘unreadable disc’ or ‘toc error’.
    These causes are:
1: User Deletion, either deliberately or accidentally.
2: Bad hardware or failing equipment, causing a corrupt file structure thus preventing the player from accessing the audio data.
3: the Battery dying during the recording which causes the final table of contents TOC to never be written to the disk, when the recording is finalised.
All these situations are all recoverable and I will show you the complete procedure to fix them, so that the audio can be fully restored.
My fix will also retain the original sound quality and bitrate of the original recording, i won’t be using any sampling over the analogue cable, this is all done digitally, so there is no audio quality loss.
This fix works with all regular minidisc recording formats, Normal, Mono, LP2 and LP4 and also works on 74Min or 80min discs.
This fix will not work on Hi_MD Data disks as they are recorded in a different way and have different types of compression algorithms applied to the data.
Legal Disclaimer: If you decide to follow my tips, I am not responsible in any way if you damage your minidisc or minidisc player. …..If you do not accept this then please do not follow this guide and leave your md and player in its original condition.
