  • Yes, we took off to Northern Kenya, that is, Lake Turkana, Sibiloi National Park & Chalbi Desert, in a really epic, vast, wild and remote place with 2 kids, one who was 6 months & the other 4 years, alone, where there were no hotels and amenities.
This was the trip itinerary: Nairobi-- Nanyuki-- Isiolo-- Laisamis-- Ngurunit in Samburu-- South Horr-- Loiyangalani-- L. Turkana-- Sibiloi Nat Park-- Koobi Fora-- North Horr-- Kalacha-- Chalbi Desert-- Marsabit Town-- finally back to Nairobi.
6 days of amazing landscapes, of meeting beautiful nomadic people of Northern Kenya, of vast landscapes, of soulful quietness and solitude!
Hope you will enjoy our video.
If you do, give it a thumbs up and subscribe. Thank you, fellow Nomad!

I have a pajero shogun, just bought it ,a KBL, am told they often have engine problems. What can you share about it since you have one and any garage recommendations to upgrade it to your level for camping, long distance travel etc. Thanks and I love your adventures am a great fan of yours.

you missed marsabit national park wit it's densely forested mountain, three crater lakes, elephants and other wild animals. You could have also driven north towards moyale, pass by buffalo springs and shaba national reserves in isiolo too. You missed the sand dunes in Kalacha and northhorr too.

😆Marsabit is so big! We could not finish all of it in just one trip. We have been to Samburu, Buffalo Springs, North Horr Sand Dune and the Rock Dune in other subsequent trips.
