Coming to break you out😂 stay put
Haha, Don't drop the soap sir!
Towns and places from Nax:
26:04 Mogotio Town (famous for sisal plantations, Molo river and of course the equator point)
30:20 Radat (zero bandits here bana but the best pure Baringo honey)
32:34 Perkerra river (supports an irrigation scheme and drains into L.Baringo)
35:20 Koriema (most famous for having the best mbuzi choma in KE, bila uwongo! There's also a nice resort nearby called Koriema Resort)
36:28 Drone shot of Tugen hills with the beautiful Morop hill prominent and of course L.Baringo far in the horizon
37:50 Tugen Hills view point
40:10 Nyayo monument. It was very beautiful back in the days of mzee. Embodies the nyayo philosophy of peace, love and unity. Kabarnet High school is immediately to your left there.
41:00 Kabarnet Town, fondly called KBT. Yes named after Barnett. Kabarnet loosely translates to "Barnet's home'. Moi was from Sacho but he loved KBT and loved to stay in the now sadly decrepit Kabarnet Hotel
42:51 The many bends winding road down Kerio Vallley heading to Kerio river. You missed a proper shot of this bana! Still good stuff though
43:50 Chepsigot (hapa ni mangoes na papaya ajab)
46:00 Kolol view point. A great panoramic view of the Kerio Valley. You can also get a glimpse of Torok falls. There's a common tale that an army tank tumbled down that steep escapement during WWII. Fact: This road was designed and engineered by an Israeli lady who sadly later got assassinated
49:59 The Home Of Champions! Iten.
Wooow! Impressive!
Nice more details
You must be from baringo babaa👏
Io credo inafaa kukuwa yako!
Great job. Thank you.

23:59 There's an interesting town along that route known as Mercy Njeri, with a school going by the same name.
Former President Moi used that route to go to Kabarak and in 1985, one 9-year old primary school pupil by the name Mercy Njeri had a heart condition that required a surgery that would cost 250000.
One day, as the president was travelling to Kabarak, the area primary school students stopped by the roadside to sing for him, he stopped, the headteacher of the primary school gathered some courage and told the president there was a young pupil in the school who needed a surgery to save her life, due to a heart condition.
The president called Mercy Njeri, greeted her and later, through media outlets, requested for all primary school students in the country to contribute 1 ksh to help towards her surgery..
Unfortunately, shortly after her surgery in the UK, she developed complications that led to her death..
In her memory, the President asked the name of the primary school she used to school in(Kiamunyi Primary School) to be changed to Mercy Njeri. Later on even the local centre was named Mercy Njeri, and now there's even Mercy Njeri Secondary School..
Wow
I didn't know that. May she rest in peace.
Am I the only person who takes these roadtrips as therapy.....Thank you so much Khalif Kairo
You are not 😂
You are not alone
Thank you Kairo for giving us amazing videos……just to let you know you’re an inspiration to young car enthusiasts and we appreciate you

That was nostalgic for me. I used to ply this route in 2006/2007 selling Simu ya jamii phones from Safcom. The route is scenic but used to have so many tortoises that could cause accidents at any given moment . Good job my bro. Get that bag.
Good job with the drone shots. Truly, it is the most scenic road.
Thank you so much Mr. Khalif Kairo for the video, I really enjoyed the views for the amazing road tip with Ford Ranger, may Lord continue blessing you. Big up.....👍👍
Mogotio is a border town, half of it is in Nakuru while the other half is in Baringo county. The boundary is the Molo river that passes the town. The town is known for goat rearing and was made famous by the late Wahome Mutahi in his Whispers column. He used to sarcastically refer to some politicians as Mogotio Goats

Mogotio, a small town in Baringo County, Kenya, has a history dating back to colonial times when British settlers arrived in the late 19th century. Its name, "Mogotio," comes from the Kalenjin word "mogosiot," meaning a place of rest. During colonial rule, it served as an administrative and agricultural hub. The construction of the Kenya-Uganda Railway in the early 20th century boosted trade and development.
Post-independence in 1963, Mogotio remained an agricultural center, focusing on maize and wheat cultivation, vital for the local economy. Recent years have seen some development, including improved infrastructure and education facilities. Mogotio is known for its natural beauty, with landmarks like the Mogotio Escarpment and Mogotio Forest.
Today, Mogotio preserves its cultural heritage while adapting to changing times, fostering a strong sense of community among its residents.

Hello Khalif 👋🏾.. I love your work and am a big fan of these road trips.
There's a new 2023 Ford ranger raptor with a twin turbo V6 petrol engine with so many specs compared to the 2018 model.
I'm pretty sure you've come around it and so I wanted to know how much it can cost to import from South Africa or Australia please.
Thank you.
In simple terms, torque determines the car's acceleration, the more torque you have, the faster the acceleration, the greater the car's towing capability. On the other hand horse power determines the car's top speed, the more horse power you have the higher the car's top speed.
Shiet,,,the way nimengoja hii kitu😮
Wah, never seen this side of kenya, 😮in this angle 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Finally after the long wait
Greetings from Maputo Moçambique 🇲🇿

Kairo, you got me falling in love with automobiles, vehicles to be precise (not cars, I consider cars small automobiles), so you can imagine how this exhibition gives me chills. Before this video, one of my dream vehicles had always been the Toyota Hilux Invincible - which brings me to my question today, how does these two compare? Raptor Vs Invincible
Best opening ever! Subbing, I just bought a bike and am doing the country on a little bike, Next time I think a car
Welcome aboard!
