My 1st lure fishing session in ages, I head out to the iconic London docklands to see if I can catch some perch. Jigging for perch in the London docks is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Fair play for getting out there mate, I blanked 3 out of 4 times on the Lea and the Docks on lures! Those days rarely make the videos though. Keep trying mate, Bow was always a reasonable prospect for small perch 😃🤞

Gday mate . Here in Australia we actually measure the perch or Aussie bass we catch . We don't weigh them usually . ✔👍🎣

Hi Andy. I have taken my son lure fishing a couple of times in docklands near Canary Wharf but we keep getting moved on by security guards! We are especially keen on pike and don't mind catching perch - where exactly can we go (if it's not too secret) - thanks!

Thanks Pete, just a rod licence, there used to be a club, but it folded. The security guards will let you know of it's not a place for fishing! 😅

I am surprised you never encountered any "karens" cos the last time i fished limehouse cut an anti threatened to call police on
me i said go ahead i was fully licensed and had a booklet from EA listing free fishing in the East End of london
