Good old Mississippi clay. That was a lot of rain that fell in a short period. This last storm dropped a lot too. Looks good! Don't worry about those wasps, they won't bother you.
Great work. Genuinely asking your opinion on using the shark bite fittings in this application (in the dirt)? I know a ton of plumbers that hate them and claim they aren’t reliable. I use them when necessary, but more frequently crimp the pex. What is your opinion and thoughts?
I was skeptical at first. I've used all kinds of fittings for various things. I personally have never seen a shark bite fail. And when I saw the water company use them then I figured if they're good enough for them, then they're good enough for me. I would just make sure the connection is clean and has a flush cut on the end.
Nice over all. The white drop at the trailer is 3/4" pex. There is red, blue and white. A-pex is clear. Your brass fittings used are really good, but when used with pex, you have to use stifner sleeves in the end. Otherwise, over time, the pipe will blow out. And need a bag of gravel at the base of the yard hydrant so the weep hole doesn't get clogged from direct contact with the soil. Overall, that is a lot of work. Nice job.
Great video man, I was going to say it really sucked being you and having to deal with all that rain lol. But then I got 4 inches of snow. So I'm not sure who it worse lol Love your videos my friend.
@Smith Worx LMBO yeah it's pretty much the same thing around here. I have lived in this house since 2017 and that was only the second time I seen it snow.
I just hooked the home up to the main line from the well pump. Everything in the house is already hooked up. Water heater and all that should already be hooked up.
You should have no problem at 200ft. What helps this it's running downhill the whole way. You might need a booster pump set by your house. Or bigger water line coming to the house from the meter
That's nice of your neighbor to allow you to tap in to his water supply but im curious what other options would you've had done if he didnt allow you to connect yours with his?And also do you pay a monthly water bill?
@@smithworx1091 My father showed me how to use a "dough ball" in a pipe to stop the water long enough to solder copper about 30 years ago. I thought he was a genius for that trick.
It would've been a easy job if it hadn't rained 90% of the time. I hope I get time to watch your latest video tonight. I got some brush cutting myself to do soon.
Good job!! That was a big job always good to see a different situation the 1st time makes the rest of them easy!!
Thanks buddy. Yeah i learned a lot. I shot myself in the foot way to much lol
Curious why you wouldnt use your trencher attachment on your Skidsteer? Love your videos.
I don't have a trencher attachment. I wish I had one though. Thanks buddy

Yeah looks like we got anther week of rain coming. It was warm that day. I just knew those wasps were gonna wake up lol
Putting that blue line for the water is a real time saver. Around here most people use pvc and have to connect each section.
Yeah I made that mistake when I installed my water line. It took days to connect all that together. We ran 1600 feet with 10ft sticks lol
@@smithworx1091 Man, 1600 feet with 10 foot sticks is a lot of gluing to do.
Thanks for the video. I hate plumbing but it looks like you did a fine job.
Thanks a lot buddy.

Appreciate that bro. I did scoop up a little gravel and put in the hydrant base. This was a tough job with all the mud.
Nice work
Thanks a lot bro

Dang buddy y'all got snow? We don't know what to do around here when it snows lol.
@Smith Worx LMBO yeah it's pretty much the same thing around here. I have lived in this house since 2017 and that was only the second time I seen it snow.
That line looks like PEX line. If it is there is a crimp tool and you can use PEX fittings instead of that crazy high brass stuff. PEX is good stuff.
I learned that the hard way. Those fittings cost more than the hose did 🤦🏼♂️
@@smithworx1091 I bet they did lol. God job though.
I wonder if they use different color lines for different utilities?
Yes. Orange is communication, yellow is gas, blue is water, red is electrical and green is sewage.
@@smithworx1091 ok. It's the same in Florida where I am. But I know homeowners go out and draw lines with any color.
Is it hooked up just to the main water? Or that and the water heater as well
We are fixing to do this tomorrow and didn’t know if it was just to the main or also to where the water heater is as well
I just hooked the home up to the main line from the well pump. Everything in the house is already hooked up. Water heater and all that should already be hooked up.
How do u get good water pressure that far? I can’t get any to my mobile home 200ft 😢
You should have no problem at 200ft. What helps this it's running downhill the whole way. You might need a booster pump set by your house. Or bigger water line coming to the house from the meter
Just like every other plumbing job, it takes multiple trips to the store for fittings.
Man you ain't lying. I was about 45 minutes from the closest store 🤦🏼♂️
That's nice of your neighbor to allow you to tap in to his water supply but im curious what other options would you've had done if he didnt allow you to connect yours with his?And also do you pay a monthly water bill?
This isn't my personal property. The home owner and the neighbors are related.
@@smithworx1091 Oh ok brother.
Little tip use loaf bread to stuff in the pipe so it stops the water just long enough to get the fitting on
That's a great idea. Thanks bro

Thanks bro
The ditch isn’t deep enough (at least 4’ depth) the water pipe will be freezen in winter
@clydebelfast7986 our frost line is 6 inches
I'm here trying to learn something.
lol man i swear its always at least 2 trips to the hardware store for fittings
🤣🤣 I'm lucky with just 2. It's usually at least 4 lol
@smithworx1091 I just found your channel, and you do great work, man. I love your equipment.
@ksmith87 I appreciate that bro. I miss that 306. Was a great mini ex

Those suckers ain't my friends. They get me regularly 😫
