The shade of the Dior lip oil is "PINK". The formula contains cherry oil.
The Weleda could totally be causing breakouts. I have been noticing the exact same thing! I’ve been using it for years and recently my skin has been freaking out. I switched moisturizer and within a few days… no more breakouts. Sad though cause it makes my skin look to juicy 😢

I completely forgot about Burberry beauty! I used to be really cutthroat about expiration dates on products, but recently I've been more lenient on dates and definitely using how it looks, smells, feels, etc to determine if it's time to let a beauty product go... I'm not sure what changed, but I feel like a ton of my products either go bad before their expiration date OR stay great well beyond! I appreciate that you talk through what you keep/why and what you're using on your face, Lan!
Allana! The skin food absolutely wrecked my skin recently, it made me break out in eczema around my eyes and chin. I had to stop using it..might be something that is affecting you as well. The other thing I've noticed my skin not loving is the Merrit oil that they just brought out, not sure if you got that in PR and are using it but I found that bugging my skin texture a lot as well.
Yeees! I noticed that recently your makeup looks soo good! I think because cool tones suit you soo much in winter and overall the whole contour you do now is so much more natural! Love it!!

I agree with the leaving the eye makeup part so much. Lately, I've been wearing no makeup on the eyes and lots of blush and lip stain and haven't felt more like myself. No eye makeup definitely is key to everyday makeup.
I love the burgundy-brown sensational mascara from maybelline - no itching, no flaking and it‘s not as harsh looking on me. Love the makeup look.
I never had more than the odd one or two small pimples each month or every 2 months, and I decided to give the Waleeda Skin Food a try since a month ago, and at first it was great, fast forward to today and I have 10 pimples all over my face! And the red nasty ones! I’m in acne cream, and special cleansing soap and will be getting laser after Christmas to remove the dark spots acne leaves behind on my skin for months and months (after this big breakout I don’t have the patience to let the spots fade on their own, they are too many!) it is definitely Waleeda skin food bad reaction. Stay away from it!!! 🙅🏼♀️

I absolutely cannot believe the flawlessness of your face with these products. My goodness, it’s blowing my mind. I don’t wear makeup at all and you’re a genius when it comes to applying makeup to the face, I wish I had your skills. You look stunning. You didn’t need anything to begin with, you’re beautiful but man, you make me want to play with makeup.
I hate to tell you this but I bet it is the Weleda making your skin act up. I was using it and within a week my skin went crazy- the fragrance was so overwhelming and my skin was a patchy bumpy mess. Now i just use it as hand cream.
So I LOVE the Weleda Skin Food as well and there’s a light version!! I have both so I use the light during the day and the original at night. The light is much easier to work with.

I used to LOVE the Weleda skin food but after months of continued use it started to break me out terribly (Twas a new tube too!). Wondering if it was the result of developing a sensitivity to the essential oils or lanolin? I’ve tried to reincorporate it after a 6 month break but still react poorly. Hope it’s just the need for a new tube for you!!!
I’ve been working on getting rid of some pretty big hyperpigmentation on both of my cheeks…using Tretinoin, some other products, and sunscreen. I cannot WAIT until I can go bare faced, or go with just some light tinted moisturizer 😩 I get so jealous when I see women applying just tinted moisturizer. I’m so tired of applying frickn full coverage foundation and concealer every single day 😩

I typically don’t wear makeup daily but when I want to step it up & look alive I use the Auric glow lust in a darker shade - Pyrite - on the perimeter of my face. Becca under eye brightener on the inner corners of my eyes, NARS soft matte concealer on my nose and any redness & my Brown tubing mascara. I don’t care about doing my brows but if I do, I just run a tinted brow gel through them and voila!

Yes it's probably the weleda skin food! I find it has a very short shelf life! Check the back of the tube. I can't remember if it has an actual expiry date printed on it or just one of those jar things that say to use it within 6 months but.... Yeah. I also love the weleda skin food but because it goes bad so fast I wish it was sold in minis!
Allana!!! I have been using the Brownish Black Maybelline Lash Sensational for literally 8-10 years and it has never failed me. It doesn’t flake, it’s super light and not so harsh on my fair complexion summer OR winter because it’s got brown in it……and it’s like $9 so it’s a win for me. Honestly try it, you may love it too!!

Yes to the no eye makeup! I have large eyes and fins that wearing less on my eyes provides more balance to my face.
you should try a lash lift and tint! Gives nice, lifted lashes and the black tint makes them stand out more. I use it for work where I am in safety glasses and a hard hat lots of the time so mascara is also a non-option.
WILL NEVER grow weary of seeing the powder before and after 🤩
Hi! Love this look, by the way! I've actually been leaving my eyes natural as well for months now and, at first, it did seem odd but now I am loving the finished look. My natural lashes have grown so much since I've stopped wearing mascara and maybe that's due to the fact that I'm not having to remove mascara and/or eye makeup at the end of the day. I still curl my lashes every day and recently started applying a very light layer of Aquaphor to the ends of my lashes to keep them hydrated during these winter months. I get what you're saying that you feel more like yourself without eye makeup and how enjoyable it is at the end of the night when you're removing your makeup. Anyways, you're beautiful and I hope you have a Merry Christmas! 💕🎄

Omg. Yes! Strip down is literal orange on me. I have very pink lips as well and so many pull orange on me too. And there is a dupe on Amazon of that lip oil that my doctor uses after lip injections. It’s only $16 and it’s identical to dior
Laura mercier primers are the only ones I use. Also just use products without Essential oils . They are highly inflammatory - you’re at that age for hormone acne which is where it is on your face . Use products with no absolutely no essential oils. Skin fix or Biossance are my go to Moisturizers for winter . Also I have normal combo skin leaning to dry but with the right products I have normal skin now . No breakouts when I stopped using crappy skincare .
I love this look! A friend of mine always wore her makeup this way - perfected skin with bare eyes, and she always wore a bold-ish lip. It looked so clean and classy and chic. Now I wear it most days - and you’re right, it’s so pleasant to remove at the end of the day without the mascara! Lovely vid. 💕
The Givenchy Prisme Libre Powder is actually both a setting and a finishing powder, so it is great for both purposes. :) However, since it is very pricey, it's probably best to reserve it for under the eyes and/or the t-zone if budget is an issue (using a lesser expensive setting powder for the entire face).
Im all about the bare eyes now too but if im going to wear something, the benefit they're real tinted primer in brown is so nice as a soft fluffy natural mascara!
Try the Westmen Atelier blush in Petal. It looks a lot like the one you love 💕
I bought the pressed Givenchy powder at the duty free shop at the airport in Paris. I don’t know why it isn’t available in the states. It is nice to travel with!

I also don't wear anything on the eyes these days and feel so great about it! I do sometimes dabble with a brown mascara if I'm feeling it! I use the benefit tint one, but I feel like you wouldn't like the wand on that one haha!

So I have been obsessed with this combo - Makeup by Mario skin enhancer cream bronzer, Nyx Serum concealer (I've never found a concealer I love as much ... I have super dry skin and crepey 37 yr old looks like 47yr old under eyes. I use the Kosas powder and Alana thanks to you, I've been loving the porefessional setting spray! I used to wear the milk hydrogrip but it started to give me some distracting shininess around my lower cheeks by the sides of my mouth...weird, I know but its a thing! I use bronzer on my eyeballs and then Maybelline mascara, what is it ... Curl bounce (feel like that is a wannabe hip hop dance...anybody? No? Just me? Sorry, I digress) mascara in the brown waterproof version...it's so good! And usually it's elf putty blush in Turks & caicos. I just got the new Beautiful skin bronzer from Charlotte Tilbury so I'm excited to start playing with that!

The Chanel les beige foundation is a holy grail for me thanks to you and Michele Wang. It looks sooo good. Love it so much. I actually switch between the Chanel and the Shiseido synchro self refreshing tint spf 20.

yess I don't love eye makeup haha love lips n brows, then base. what I like to do if I want a little oomph is curl my lashes and sometimes I also apply the Ere Perez brow n lash clear aloe vera gel mascara! I have long, black, eyelashes anyway but I feel extra fab with a lash curl and clear mascara for a natural makeup day 🤍✨

I'm loving this look. This is pretty much what I do when I wear makeup just different products. I'm not very confident doing eye makeup so I usually just don't do it. I do wear mascara though but I'm going to have to try it without it and see what I think and which way I would prefer it.

We are makeup twins! I remember when I was managing at Sephora one of my coworkers said I reminded them of you and that is how I discovered your page! I have been rocking the no-eye makeup with a very similar look. Very much related to the part about feeling more yourself without eye makeup and it is easier at night! I just purchased the Glossier Lash Slick in brown last week and I am finding myself going to it more and more, you might like it!

The Givenchy DOES come in a travel size! I bought it to try from your recommendation, but I bought the travel size so I could test it. I love it! Beware, the travel size only has one of the powder colors in it, however. I have the pink. Loving Lanmas and hope you are feeling better!
Yesss!! I also love not wearing eye makeup. I have super dry eyes too and can’t stand mascara all day and I actually think it looks really good full face minus eyes. And then like you said the best part about it is at the end of day it’s so much easier to take off!
I wish so badly that Givenchy would come out with the same powder but make it fragrance free for us sensitive girlies… It looks so beautiful but I just I can’t use it and it’s so sad!

Hey Allana, I wonder have you tried By Terry Powder for undereyes? I am considering between By Terry and Gyvenchy, By Terry is with haluronic acid and it doesn thave talc adn Gyvenchy has. SO I am not sure if talc is dangerous, doing research on it now. But By Terry is hydrating and mattifuing at the same time which is kinda crazy:)

Alana, the cherry lip oil is the name of all the lip oils. It would be on the package whether or not it’s the pink or the mahogany or the rosewood.
