I've just ordered one of these on Amazon, sounds good for the money, looking forward to seeing it tomorrow.

I have a couple decent multimeter’s but I think I’m going to get one of these because doing electrical work sometimes it’s dark even with a backlight it can be hard to see. But I really like the display on this.

They say this is made by Kaiweets, a relatively new company, the pioneer of these cool colored, Smart and smarphone looking amazing multimeter. They say this AstroAI 10,000 Count (MUS10KRD) is also the Kaiweets KM601 (or maybe it's little brother) and the Habotest HT116 (or maybe it's little brother) which is the one I ordered, it's way cheaper than it's source manufacturer Kaiweets- I do hope the seller will truly send an H T116 not a lower model which some scammers do. I was heavily researching, which took the from morning to 2am, for days to weeks, sporadically months, asking people what their favorite is, comparing the specs from different official sites coz' the chinese have typos in the specs but the colored LCD is just beautiful and the range and function is on par with the top affordable ones from source makers also like Zotex which makes a lot of brands which are rebranded by other popular affordable meter makers but I then said, this rebranded Kaiweets is formidable and beautiful, I didn't want to get stuck to the old mono color LCD and rotary dial- don't want to be stuck with that this 21st century having had that design for more than a decade so I went with the Smar and cellphone looking Kaiweets this one in the video but mine's the rebranded Habotech HT116).
    Thank you.
    God bless, Rev. 21:4

I ordered myself one of these; the display is bright and large and for older people like myself with vision issues this can be a godsend.
I own a couple of Fluke true rms meters, however, they have a small lcd display and it's not bright in dim lighting situations. At this price point, it's a great addition to any tool box.

Just a follow up, I got the unit from A2Z from the link for $40+TX and it arrived in good shape. I've used it a couple of times and the response rate is slow, however, accurate enough for my automotive use. You can speed up the response time by manually selecting what you want rather than putting into the auto mode. Still, I'm pleased with it especially when checking a circuit under a dash.

Out of passing interest, dirty meter boots can be greatly improved by removing & tossing in the washing machine along with a load of (work) clothes. First remove any tilt stands or anything else 'catchy'. Don't put in the drier.

Astro ai m4kor multimeter I have and $39 and it seems really decent it replaced the actron Sears brand multimeter I had from the late 89-90-92 year range the plastic face were just scratched way too much to read it anymore and that Astro ai m4kor is backlit and tests batteries

Cool I am guessing that is a strong 1.5 volt battery when you have in mind both multimeters put it at 1.6? Something lol

What about the fuse? is it a cheap one?

  • @SDsailor7

So that meter does not use a 9v battery? used triple A or double A?

  • @richardbates2367

Nice case it came in and mine did not and my actron from Sears I'm pretty sure didn't read any mine digit anything or test capacitors and diodes

If it were quicker it would cost as much as a Fluke and then well you might as well buy the Fluke if you need the speed. You get what you pay for.

M4KOR don't have the temperature probe or the function for it.

Does anyone care about how cheap the plastic is that holds the test leads? Really? But good review. This meter is VERY easy to read.

  • @SDsailor7
    @SDsailor7 ปีที่แล้ว

Those leads don't look like they are silicone. They look like cheap leads.
