How warm was gregs 2g haha i held my 12v at 4k for 2 and a half minutes and my engine temp was who knows because the needle was about 1/4” past the red 😂

I think you answered your own question. If you spend that much on a build, polished wheels that are hard to keep clean, chrome plated lifts, powder coated axles and all that shit, you spent so much money that potentially ruining it or having to spend hours cleaning it doesn't make sense. The better question would be why do so many people spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on trucks so they can get likes on social media and impress other dudes and high school girls. Everyone builds repeated versions of the same shit and claims they're killing the game but the only reason most of them are into it is because it made someone famous on the internet before them. People think starlight headliners, wheel lights, rock lights and train horns somehow mean you built something. Or that everyone has to run JTX to be cool. JTX gets the same blanks every other company does and cuts them on the same machines. The whole show truck thing is played TF out, especially people thinking they're cool because they went into debt to get 10k likes somewhere online. But there are still unique things happening and there are still guys who build high hp diesels and beat the shit out of them. I've had everything from bagged and body dropped obs Chevy's to 5Gs on forged wheels to a daily driven 1500 on wides and 40s. Beat the shit out of all of them, never went to shows, but paying to fix what you broke off-road or paying for detailing sucks. I grew up. I still have fast shit, tall shit, Harley's and all that but my daily is a Tacoma on 18x9.5 and 35s that I've never even put in 4wd and I'm okay with that. But Im also not one to say what other grown people who worked for their own money should spend it on. If they actually love it and it makes them happy then cool. Atleast it's not a takeover or squatted truck show
