The Melty "execution" scene plays out differently in the manga as well. Naofumi doesn't try to spare her, he's the one actively calling for her beheading. The queen plays him into accepting her being made a slave and stripped of her name to save her. Edit: apparently I got Melty and Myne mixed up. *MYNE* is bitch/witch Melty is the good lil sis.

Now, I don't like violence but when there is an evil character that kept getting away everytime and is finally caught and now have to answer for there crimes. It makes me very satisfied to know they are getting what they deserved.

The Melty "execution" scene plays out differently in the manga as well. Naofumi doesn't try to spare her, he's the one actively calling for her beheading. The queen plays him into accepting her being made a slave and stripped of her name to save her.
