Apparently the "dragon" in the HtTyD land is actually a statue of sheep that is wearing a dragon costume. Apparently it's from the 3rd movie and some sheep dress like dragons so they can move among the dragons unharmed 😄
The Crain is an autobot! Mostly the crane fits through the walk way towards donkey Kong and will go out the unfinished part of at the back of the land.
For the crane, they just cashed in on the Transformers licensing. The crane is actually one of the constructicons and when the construction is done, he'll just transform and walk out of the park (he'll have to step over some buildings though - he got paid enough energon, that he's willing to be careful). Hope that helps explain it.
Dark manor going to be amazing. I hope they keep adding more to it over the years. I love horror. I would like to see cthulu , and over creepy monsters over the years.
Not saying you’re wrong, I just didn’t see any way in the pictures where it would be able to drive out. I used to work in a warehouse so I have some experience with scissor lifts and such but not cranes. Just seemed kinda funny to me lol
Not much is being said about the parking lot of this park. I see a garage parking structure near the grand Helios hotel but I’m curious if the main parking lot will be similar to the garages at the existing universal resort or will it be more like Disney’s flat parking areas? And how about the traffic flow in and out of the park and onto existing roads around the park.
There is an extension for Kirkman Road that is being constructed along with the park and parking wise I believe it's a flat parking lot but I'm not certain on that. Road and parking construction doesn't have a big draw compared to rides and land construction so we don't cover it much lol
Idk. I’m fighting the urge to go this year. I went to Disney in 2023. Of course, with any Florida theme park vacation you have to plan and save everything you can in advance. I may just wait for this. I would like to get the best experience and time it just right.
I’ve never ridden a ride using the kuka-arm technology. Wondering if it will cause motion sickness? I’m usually totally fine riding roller coasters. But some extra sensory stuff can get to me! (Spider-Man at Islsnds, yeah, never again!!) 😊
The arm movements itself, no, but on the Forbidden Journey ride, it will occasionally stick you right up next to a curved screen, and that will probably get to you. Word is the Dark Manor ride will rely more on physical sets and animatronics, with minimal screen work for the background. I don't get motion sickness, I just get sick of screen based rides, so I'm hoping that's the case!
My wife can’t do Forbidden Journey without motion slickness meds and closing her eyes but it depends on how they utilize the ride tech in this new ride. But short answer, yes it can cause some motion sickness for many
It won't happen, but I wish a small part of Celestial Park, maybe near the Atlantic restaurant has no music playing and lots of benches---like a park. Sometimes it's so awesome to truly relax and that means ears too.

Ahhhhhhh ok. That makes sense lol
My daughter and I went to Universal last year and enjoyed it immensely! Want to go to Epic when finished. Thanks for the updates.
You’re quite welcome!

I do always hold out that things are transformers 🤣
That's a lot of progress
Yes it is
im most excited for dragons. the theming is insane! gonna be such a fun theme park
Agreed!!

I accept this as true in the hopes that the Optimus that’s in the park will just walk out one day 🤣

More creepy monsters * i meant.
They do have an explanation pad for all the lands (except How To Train Your Dragon I think) so I’m sure there will be more to come everywhere
The crane was driven in. It’ll go out the same way
Not saying you’re wrong, I just didn’t see any way in the pictures where it would be able to drive out.

@@capthemagic There is a large opening in that area for it to exit. Take a closer look at some of the aerial shots.

Understandable. If we didn’t live close I’m sure we would wait till Epic opened to plan a trip
The crane will be taken out with another crane likely, they'll break down some of it before extracting it on cables.
Makes sense. I had just never seen anything like that before and was curious 🤣
@@capthemagic yeah, it seems counter intuitive to move a crane with a crane but that's usually how I've seen them placed
👎
I will drive it out just like I drove it in. I am the operator
Awesome if there's room for that. Looked like a tight enclosed area

Crimes of Grindelwald is set in Paris 1927, not the 30s yet.
I thought Universal stated in their video it was based on 1930’s Paris but I’ll double check that and correct it in the next video if I’m wrong
@capthemagic, I’m guessing that this isn’t for Universal Studios Orlando ?
Epic Universe? It’s part of Universal Studios Orlando, just down the road a bit from the Endless Summer hotels
It won't happen, but I wish a small part of Celestial Park, maybe near the Atlantic restaurant has no music playing and lots of benches---like a park. Sometimes it's so awesome to truly relax and that means ears too.
Some of the concept art showed it being almost like a Central Park type area. I would like that as well
Really good call actually!
Wizarding World Ministry of Magic is based on 1920s Paris, not 1930s
See I thought that as well but I swore in Universal’s announcement I swore they said 1930 but I could be mistaken
@@capthemagic I could also be mistaken, sorry if my comment came off as rude 😅It just gives off flapper era vibes which was the 20s
Lots of progess. My wild speculative guess is....21/02/25 😊
I hope you’re right on that one!
A week later than everyone else.....old photos
I was sick so the video got delayed getting out
The carousel is called Constellation Carousel. Fix that.
Not sure why I said Celestial Carousel there but it is indeed Constellation Carousel... it's Celestial themed so I suppose I was close lol
