  • Absolutely incredible footage captured by Harry Gell of a huge pod of roughly 300 short-beaked common dolphins just 4 miles off the coast of Peel, Isle of Man. This is by far the biggest group size of commons we have observed this summer. Henry was out on his boat on June 17th, Saturday when he was suddenly surrounded by a massive pod of 300 strong common dolphins! Looking out from his boat, he was greeted on both sides by dolphins as far as the eye could see. As he travelled up towards the Point of Ayre, they continued to swim alongside for over 1 hour. Hard to believe such an abundance of cetaceans exists so close to the Manx coast!
