I love your videos. I passed in November gone but I'm still learning daily. Yout video content is a brilliant reminder of all the good habits and routines, delivered calmly and with a kind demeanour. Thanks for what you do.

Absolutely 💯 the best video!! I was so confused with the vision that would concentrate in car in front and not seeing whats happening up ahead!! You are biking encyclopaedia! 🏍 thank you! We have same rules in Ireland different bit roundabouts its 12 clock here. And i am living small village so only few roundabouts
So i am trying getting comfortable with riding with traffic as i am always going when its early morning or late evening as fear of other uses. This made sense now!

Nice one. The only thing I'd add is once out of town you can spread that view very wide /left/right to get cross views of what may be coming in from the sides further ahead, and to make a good judgement of the twisty path the road may take.

Impressive commentary Leanne, when I did my advanced car test back in the 90's we had to do a brief commentary section. Comfortable in the car but on my bike my speech can't keep up with what i'm thinking!

Have you got any videos on using a manual choke? I'm picking up my "new" ('97) bike this month and it has a manual choke.

Haha, no Alex but they're not difficult to use. I had one on my first bike but never since as they've all been fuel injected. Pop in and have a chat with Russ or give us a call if you need any advice 😊

    A fantastic tutor
As I very nervy learner you would have been perfect .
My DAS experience was ok, but with several instructors some were far more informative than others..
    I find you extremely professional.
My problem now is still twisty roads and confidence especially the twisty roads over the moors ( I live near the pennies)
I d love you to do a guided ride on the twistys . Speed , gear, approach, line and apex … I know for a fact that on some bends I’m looking at the crash barriers and not the exit !! I’m kinda following the rd around . It’s difficult to explain..
when the rd is bending a lot a have a fear to look far into the distance we’re the exit is for fear of ‘ missing ‘ the bit of rd I’m on !
    Yep, that’s weird eh .
It’s the only way for me to explain
    😂

    • @motorcyclelessonsuk
      @motorcyclelessonsuk  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Thank you. If the road has a central white line, try following the line with your eyes around the bend, & at the same time drop the elbow of the arm you're leaning into, in to your waist & relax that arm specifically (right arm for a right bend, left arm for a left bend). Lots of people are so tense they don't let the bike lean or are fighting the handlebars with straight arms. I'll add this to my list of uploads, though it will require me going on a longer jaunt out so might take a couple of months before I get time to find some appropriate roads. Thanks for the kind comment 😊

@@motorcyclelessonsuk Thank you so much. I think I am a bit tense , especially the roads that are uneven.
In fact I’ve just come back from Leeds in the came off the motorway onto the Saddleworth rd, . It’s not easy on a car . There are some tight spots and I can feel myself pulling funny faces as I corner !!
I just have to overcome the ‘problem ‘and il be sorted
