I got an HDS Carbon 9 and when I try to do this, i can connect, but the view isn't full screen. It's too small to work with. How can you go full screen on the iPad?
Using an android phone or tablet results in a double image. I am wondering if this is a ground loop issue like with the display when you are not on the water.
I see my hds-9 gen 2 has a wireless option, will this work with the gen 2? I have seen some people say I need a wifi-1 module? also does it work with any ipad/tablet? thanks for any help
Any tips on keeping your iPad from overheating. I have mine paired with an eliteti but it overheats in the summer pretty quick. Or is there a better tablet that will work in direct sun like a sonar scree? Thanks!
Get a universal fit waterproof tablet case (like $20)then when the unit gets hot, splash some water on it to lower the temp. Covering the tablet for a few minutes with a wet rag also helps too

Can you do this with your HDS Live 7 and also can you do split screen with this? I.e so someting on the table and something else on the head unit?
The app hangs when attempting to connecting to my Elite7 Ti2 hotspot. Phone is not seeing the hotspot in the list

I don`t see any advantage of this since you can only mirror the screens. If you could select different screens it would be usefull.
You can control the unit with a tablet. With a smartphone is when you can only mirror the screen.
So how do I get the sonar on one and the map on another or two separate IPads.
