Just want to say that I live in the US but watching your videos and your attention to detail I know more about Australian housing history than I do about our own. Keep em coming brother.
Love the bird noises on this one, Paul! From aggro native Minah birds near the start, to Black Cockatoos screeching & Crows calling, all sounds of the Aussie bush...
No need to apologize surly no one wants you to get stung. Liked the scroll work on the vanity chair. After seeing the gathering of remains in the one room. I felt bad for the horse all alone hooked to that buggy. Lmao Texas twisted cense of humor. Always look forward to your videos.
Great find. Love these old house reminds me of my family’s way of life. my dad is a wheat farmer in county Victoria and would probably have many of those old machines on his farm. He has hectares of land and old run down houses waiting for family to come home, but sadly my grandparents are no longer with us. Seeing these old houses I always wondered what happened to the families in them and how time allows them to still stand frozen in time.
Hi Tiree :-) It is so fascinating these old farms get absorbed in to larger properties and just sit like a marker in time. It definitely feels like this one sits like a ghost farm left to just wither away on its own. Cheers for watching, glad you are from country Victoria too :-)
Awhh you just broke my heart yet again! I so love these old homes. The craftsmanship and details in these houses you will never find today. This is exactly the type of property im looking for. Remote rural and very old. 🇦🇺❤️
I really enjoy these videos of old home places They are going away so fast now for so called progress.Very sad to me,I grew up in the country,we are a large family and very close .wouldn't trade with anyone in today's. Time.We had a tree swing, acreek we played in,my dad made a garden, and he and mom canned food for winter.Theres only seven of us kids left out of ten.I am so thankful we have got to be together this long,I'm very blessed. This house looks like a warm family home to me.Thank you Paul.👍❤️🇺🇸
Hi Gayle :-) Yes growing up in the country is the best! You have a big family and it sounds like your are very greatful too. Simple and very loving life although hard in comparison to todays comparison. Cheers for watching :-)
🌟Hi Paul!, wow another random find brilliant. Beautiful example of country faming life a family living on the land so peaceful and secluded cosy cottage beautiful in its prime but still beautiful now and what a story it would tell. Thank you so much again ❤️😊🌟x
it's great to see the bee population is safe and thriving somewhere! thanks for another great find Paul, stay safe and please keep these awesome videos coming - loving them!
The kitchen is beautiful eve with the bees and without a ceiling or floor. It reminds me of another house you found with the mossy green. Thanks Paul I love the old farms there ❤️
Great and interesting find! It must have been abandoned a long time ago. This was a dangerous exploration. Thanks for the video and stay safe! Greetings from Germany.
A busy, happy farm, with children thriving in the country air and good country cooking. Then, the kids grew up and left the farm for the cities and the parents grew old. With no one interested in the land, it has been left to decay with it's memories. I wish we could time travel, too. Thanks for the cool explore. I was wondering if that squawking parrot (was it a parrot?) was going to dive bomb you to get you to leave. lol Cheers from Canada
A great summary of this farm Dianne :-) I almost feels like this farm has been left as an old ghost farm like a marker in time. I think there were several birds, the really loud ones were Cockatoo`s and Galah`s :-) Thanks for watching and cheers from Australia :-)
Super cool! And I am the same in terms of thinking how cool it would be to tgime travel back to when these farms were in their heyday, bustling and full of life. Thank you!

Hello from USA! Someone in the past was definitely using that house to store junk. I lived in Texas for awhile and would see the same sort of thing when I would poke around in old houses there. Great video, as always!

Nice little find mate dam those Bees that kitchen looked cool with the rements of the old wood oven. The old place looks good from the outside with all the decay awesome mate. Loved the old tractor and all the farm machines and that little motor bike would probably still work with some fresh fuel and a clean up. what a cool explore mate the decay explorers we are cheers for the walk around.

I can imagine that big kitchen being HQ, feeding the shearers and farm hands during the clip season. So many water tanks, some shredded. Looks like a storm went through there at some time.
Like you said in your videos. I often wonder how these homes would look at their grand old time. To me, that was more of a simple time. More of the family being together. ThanQ again for sharing a beautiful time capsule and your precious time with us. 🌬💞

Awesome Job as usual!! The New Holland machines are hay balers, the two Massey's are combines (for harvesting) . The little yellow tractor looks like a Massey Ferguson from the 60's. Very cool stuff. Also on the front porch, those long thick steel plates with the square holes in them are cutting edges for either a bulldozer, motor grader, or some other piece of earth moving equipment. I always look forward to your videos, thanks from South Carolina, USA!!
First come first serve.🐝 I was telling someone about all the different places I see on U tube. That Would like to travel to, but there are a few reasons. Even though Covid might have come down,in some parts of the world. I think it might be safer and less expensive. To watch all these wonderful places, from my couch. Be careful out there,we don't want you to get hurt 🤕.
Knowing little about the Agri- business economics in Australia,, I would suspect a general recession in the mid to late 1980's. However, these old beauties still survive in some fashion. Nostalgic, & Wonderful old bit of history. There is a Ghost town named Rowley, about 160 kms from me that is used now as a film industry back drop, and tourism attraction . It died a slow death in the 1960-80 period. This old farm would have made a dandy example for that end. Cheers
Cheers Gary. It certainly had that deserted ghost town feel. Just decided that it was time to leave it for good. Perhaps when the old folks passed away that was the end, Cheers for watching :-)
Would have been quite a house once and yes, it would be great to be able to time travel to see this pace in its heyday. I’d say the farmer was a fairly wealthy Western Districts wheat or barley grower. Shame it’s all going to ruin. Thanks for sharing this find.
Wow so much gear left behind, must have been easier to leave it rather than drag it all away. That farmhouse could tell some stories. YES.. A time machine is needed here I think. Thanks for sharing Cheers :) MM

Hi Barbara :-) Glad you are enjoying these old places and the feeling of the old days. I really enjoyed this place for that reason. Definitely a real hands on old farm with some machinery added in the later decades now all sitting there like a museum . Cheers from Australia Barbara :-)
I wonder if the last owner was a scrap metal merchant? The current owners would make quite a lot of money if they sold all that stuff for scrap metal. It's always good to recycle. Interesting explore. Can imagine the family sitting around a huge table in the kitchen, yarning away as the farmer's wife bustles around cooking and making cups of tea etc. Lovely lifestyle! 🦘🤔🤑🤗🥰
On the front porch was a few plow disks blades from a old harrow plow. Here in Texas we repurpose them for cooking. It is not uncommon to use them to get together with a bunch of folks in the country to make a big breakfast. A big 24 inch harrow disk will cook over a fire with about 48 eggs and 3 or 4 pounds of chorizo sausage with a pound of shredded potatoes.🤠
Wow that was a fantastic explore, love seeing these old farm complexes!! Flaming Galah ha ha..... that had to be a subtle nod to Home and Away's Alf Stewart!!!
Hello Paul. I love the knowledge you have during your walk through of each place you explore. The passion in your voice shows how much you enjoy what you do. Thanks for another great video. I watched this same house on another channel but didn't enjoy it at all. Clearly the person on the other channel needs to do a lot of research to keep the viewers interested. Thanks again Paul
Hello Paul. The other video I watched of this farm house was on The Frightened Explorer. He real needs to study about the houses he explorers and some of the old items he finds. I don't like it when he shows the foul graffiti on the walls. I know it's hard sometimes that you can't avoided but not trying to avoid it at all is not good. I messaged him about it but got no replied. Sorry for complaining but there is enough of this rubbish on TV as it is.

Love this one Indigo! That stove looks like it might still be usable! Lots of cool stuff to see all over the place! I really don’t like those turbines though! They’re bird killers and pollute the countryside in my opinion! Thanks again for the tour!👍
These types of properties are often bought out by larger neighbouring farmers. Sometimes on a walk in walk out basis. The new owners don't always have the time or inclination to clean them up. The 2 Massey Ferguson harvesters are built in the 1970's, with the 542 SP model having an open front, which was rare at that time.
Hi Deb. When I first started exploring I had 10 bees sting me from a wall hive so I have always been wary since :-) Most the time they ignore you but they can get pissed off! haha Thanks for watching :-)
Yea, another great museum piece, you know your old when you remember the door handles and light switches. You should get some leggings Paul, I would have been bitten by 10 brown snakes and 5 tarantulas by now ! When I see these old places, especially kids stuff like cribs and children's toy prams, a grinches heart goes soft....you get to thinkin' this is where children grew up..
Wunder what happened so many dead stock they must of just left one day I’m shore if you wet walking through the paddock you would see the hole live stock was out there and there gone now to 😢
It looked like the kitchen looks like it could have been part of a wrap around porch. And just closed it in so that the workers had an area to cook for all workers ect. But, could be wrong. I know my grandparents had live in houses like that and the wives all got together and cooked meals for all workers.
now find us an XU-1 or HG GTS 350 bathurst. my cousin found a HG bathurst in a shed years ago, got it for $7000. its sitting in his garage now in great condition but gathering dust. when i lived in a small town out of toowoomba there was a property with dozens and dozens of old vehicles. the further out in the field you went the older they got, a few from the 1920s but most were utes or pickups from the 1940s and up. i was allowed to take some badges etc and had chev, buick, pontiacs etc etc as well as holdens and fords. they had an old solid rubber wheeled truck that still ran and was used for working the dairy. there was a big old steam traction engine there but not running of course. hot rodders would have dropped whatever rust filled resto they were doing if they saw these cars, a bit of surface rust but most were complete utes with engines, glass and trim. the dogs were something else, one was built like a hyena, had a boney ridge down the centre of its head that started between its eyes which in turn were deep set and would cross then retract inside the sockets when it yawned. it was a lovely dog and fairly friendly, it just looked like a proto-hyena from the flintstones.
I love these old country homes, no graffiti or vandalism. What a big kitchen, probably beautiful in it's day. But what kind of bird did you record near the end? Sounded scary!!
Love the kitchen windows , what a shame She’s left like that wonder what happened to the corner veranda post 😮😮 Poor sheep 😢😢 l THANKYOU for the tour of this old property . 👍✊. Can’t get enough of your explores . Diane
Hi Robin :-) Yes there is! Farmers are pretty well versed in know to cover them but if the old wood planks they cover them with rot then that can expose them again. Or they get filled in. But they are always something we should look out for yes. Cheers for watching :-)

Glad you enjoyed elmin82 :-)
Creative music for the house.
Always wanted an old Australian still house since I saw them in a movie. I could live on the veranda.
Thanks for another great video. I was worried that you would be attacked by those bees….🐝
Hi Deb. When I first started exploring I had 10 bees sting me from a wall hive so I have always been wary since :-) Most the time they ignore you but they can get pissed off! haha Thanks for watching :-)
Stay safe…. Looking forward to the next video….😊
Another nice one! I wish we could have explored the kitchen more, but I hate bee's too severely allergic to them myself. Thanks again.
This give me chills down my spine this creepy got to go.sprry.
I could even see honeycomb in the wall of the room by the bathroom. Kind of sad it’s turned into a wind farm now. Hope you had a good Australia Day.
Yep a huge hive in that wall Martha :-)
Yea, another great museum piece, you know your old when you remember the door handles and light switches. You should get some leggings Paul, I would have been bitten by 10 brown snakes and 5 tarantulas by now ! When I see these old places, especially kids stuff like cribs and children's toy prams, a grinches heart goes soft....you get to thinkin' this is where children grew up..
Why is this old Properly, Thank you.
Can always tell lead paint the way it crackles and peals. 👍🇦🇺
Watch the bee's

@@urbexindigo5164 sorry been a minute since watching just a busy man these days mate in in adl live to come for a adventure one day lol
It looked like the kitchen looks like it could have been part of a wrap around porch. And just closed it in so that the workers had an area to cook for all workers ect. But, could be wrong. I know my grandparents had live in houses like that and the wives all got together and cooked meals for all workers.
Hi Carla :-) Yes absolutely this kitchen was evident that it was made to cater for several cooks for many workers. Thanks for watching :-)
Hope you got a bigger stick this time, LOL.
I did Linda haha, and it did not break this time. :-)
@@urbexindigo5164 Can't have you getting bit by a snake, LOL. Ya'll have some of the most posseness snakes.
now find us an XU-1 or HG GTS 350 bathurst. my cousin found a HG bathurst in a shed years ago, got it for $7000. its sitting in his garage now in great condition but gathering dust. when i lived in a small town out of toowoomba there was a property with dozens and dozens of old vehicles. the further out in the field you went the older they got, a few from the 1920s but most were utes or pickups from the 1940s and up. i was allowed to take some badges etc and had chev, buick, pontiacs etc etc as well as holdens and fords. they had an old solid rubber wheeled truck that still ran and was used for working the dairy. there was a big old steam traction engine there but not running of course. hot rodders would have dropped whatever rust filled resto they were doing if they saw these cars, a bit of surface rust but most were complete utes with engines, glass and trim. the dogs were something else, one was built like a hyena, had a boney ridge down the centre of its head that started between its eyes which in turn were deep set and would cross then retract inside the sockets when it yawned. it was a lovely dog and fairly friendly, it just looked like a proto-hyena from the flintstones.
I hate spiders but I love when you show them especially the big ass huntsman ones
I love these old country homes, no graffiti or vandalism. What a big kitchen, probably beautiful in it's day. But what kind of bird did you record near the end? Sounded scary!!
Hi Vicki :-) Glad you enjoy these old country ones too. I think that bird was an Galah but there were many , I will have to have another listen :-)
No-one but the birds left to squabble over that old place now.
Oh, my goodness! That's so bizarre. 😳
I would love to buy that
STRANGE FEELING ABOUT THIS OLDY , NOT GOOD ENERGY I ADMIRE YOU FOR YOUR COURAGE GOING IN THIS OLDY 😮😮
Love the kitchen windows , what a shame She’s left like that wonder what happened to the corner veranda post 😮😮 Poor sheep 😢😢 l THANKYOU for the tour of this old property . 👍✊. Can’t get enough of your explores . Diane
Nice brick barby in the kitchen.
Is there ever a danger of open wells on properties?? Here in the U.S. they are a hazard at abandoned homes. 😊😊😊
Hi Robin :-) Yes there is! Farmers are pretty well versed in know to cover them but if the old wood planks they cover them with rot then that can expose them again. Or they get filled in. But they are always something we should look out for yes. Cheers for watching :-)
I can’t help wondering what that natural bush honey would taste like.
Absolutely YUM. Look up "The Bush Bee Man" on youtube here www.youtube.com/@TheBushBeeMan
