As a person who just hit 30 I totally agree with you about the babies question. Everyone has a different path and we should respect it.

I'm from Puerto Rico, my husband is from Barcelona, my step father is from Tuscany and my grandfather is from Florence. I have 2 sets of twins and we live in Michigan because of my husband work. My 7 year old twins always sounds like Ricky Ricardo and Sofia Loren every summer because we always vacation in one of these places every summer

Great video Sofie. I also miss the food in Italy. There is something so good, pure and natural about the food and ingredients from Italy that makes food memorable! I also miss Italy like the entire country but specially Roma. When I when there for vacation I felt like I was home. Seriously I felt like I belong there and didn’t get lost and had a idea of where things were and how to get to them, it’s like I have lived there before. I miss it so much that I do get sad about not been there. Someday I’ll be in front of the colosseum again. 🥺

A few Questions for Your Next Q&A
    1. How is the Weather in Italy year round compared to in the US year round?
    2. With the Italian Economy being the way that it is, how would it be for someone looking to Retire to Italy in the Southern part below Rome but above Naples in My case?
    3. What would be the Top 5 things be that would be Hard about Moving to Italy for someone who is Recognized as an Italian Citizen besides having to learn the language?

I can truly say that I was finding my purpose in my (working)life at 30 y-o I was already married and out of the blue I felt the pressure to have a baby. Don't get me wrong, my kid is my whole world and I love her more than everything else, but I find myself wondering what I would have done if I had continued pursuing my dreams... since my dreams were difficult to achieve and everybody around me was telling me that I was crazy because you know... family first.. I gave up.. and now I'm a stay at home mom to a beautiful daughter. But I missed the feeling of having missing the opportunity to make my dream come true.. I don't know if it does make sense.. my English is crazy...

Out of all the travelling you have done throughout Italy where would you consider a good place to retire
And where is your favourite area? Thank you for your Q&A

I live in Houston too... Hopefully you made it out of the cold ok. I call Houston a Concrete City. But to be honest, any city this big would be the same, I was in Chicago last year, it's the same. We hope to find a smaller town one day, like a European village, big cities are all about working and jobs.... less about quality of life... my 2 cents.

Thanks so much for this video, Sofie. I’m also considering moving abroad for love and wondering...
    1. What was the adjustment period like for you being away from your family, and country and language that you grew up in? This is my biggest fear since I am so close to my family, and you seem super close with your mom! 💕
    2. How much of deciding where to live with Emilio is intuition vs. logistics (i.e. jobs, support network, cost of living, future retirement, quality of life, etc.)
Thank you. You are so open and lovely ☺️.

    • @kerig8392
      @kerig8392 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also,
      3. How has living in Italy changed your perspective on the pros and cons of Italy and the US? What do you view as the good and bad parts of each country (totally subjective, I know!)?

Grazie. Ciao.

Sin is born, greed increases instability increases then forget parents. Different people are given less and less time then suddenly in spirit, breathing comes with joy? When sin is fulfilled after death is born.

Outside the close relatives circle, I've always found the questions regarding kids as rude, unpolite and completely misplaced. Every couple has its own pacing and problems. It's not up to a total nobody to ask such a private question, unless is the couple to bring out the topic.

I don't like when people ask women when they'll have kids. I thinks it's rude. Some women choose to not have kids by choice or have fertility issues. Women shouldn't be expected to have kids!! I think it's rude and I find it weird that no one else think it's rude.
