In bocca al lupo! When I gave birth in 2022, I really didn't have the strength or time to use a lot of the stuff I brought (and I barely brought anything). But what I remember, the post partum adult diapers were my best friend the first week or two after birth. Good thing you are bringing snacks, I gave birth at 12:02am and the kitchens were all closed. I am all about diverse ways of parenting and the mantra that there is no one way to parent ... I would just like to say though that the white noise machine is great but something to think about is that if baby gets used to it they will become reliant on it in the future. If I learnt anything, it was to try to be the most minimalist at first, because a lot of the info I got online was really just extra 😅. Wishing you all the luck in birth and congratulations!!!

My bag consisted of one change of going home clothes (which didn’t fit) and one outfit for you which was an outfit for a boy. That’s it! No toiletries and no make up! I wish I had seen your video when I was preparing for your birth!!!!😂

A tradition in my family is to gift the baby a stuffed animal of their chinese zodiac at birth! I love it, maybe it's something you can do for your baby girl, year of the dragon is a strong year! Wishing you a smooth labor and delivery🩷

My suggestion is get as much sleep at the hospital as you can before you are discharged to help kickstart healing because once you are home, it’s welcome to Zombie Mommy Island. Good luck with a fast and easy delivery.
A Doula can really help with this too for 6 weeks. Many give overnight support.
Ciao Sophie… va benissimo tutto quello che hai! Brava…good job !Un piccolo consiglio. Porta un paio di calzini piccolissimi per la bambina! Dopo la nascita i bimbi tendono a rimanere in posizione fetale e quando indossano le tutine i piedini della tutina rimangono “ vuoti” . Tu metti alla bimba la tutina e poi sopra i calzettini che così tengono tutto a posto! Auguri cara !
