I only got Mister Sinister Cable Juggernaut Black Panther and Spider-Man I mostly got X men figures I just got BP and Spidey for Sentinel

I have Sinister, Moon Knight (Silver variant), War Machine, Black Panther and 1st Appearance Spidey. I got all these as a kid from my dad and remember ripping off some of the cape tassels on Sinister 🤦 Also I broke Moon Knight's leg. Dumb kid lol
Toybiz figures had a different feel to them. Yes some figures were not good. But overall they were not lazy, gave us so many great sculpts, paints, articulated points.
Consider also Toy Biz revolutionized action figure articulation with Spider-Man Classics the precursor to Marvel Legends. Before that no action figure was that articulated

I get the appeal of ToyBiz stuff. The paint, mostly unique sculpts, etc. Hasbro has come a long way, but they still don't get anywhere near the level of paint detail.

I loved that Toybiz included a comic featuring the character as well as the bases! I specifically remember the X-men figures coming with battle damaged Sentinel Base
Got the entire Sentinel BAF wave sealed for Christmas one year. Opened them all up and built the thing but kept them all in great shape. No regrets.

MixedBeans I mainly think that’s the design choice because that design was atrocious in the comics too. Other than that I’d say they do.

Toy Biz era were good times. You got a comic, BAF, diorama and accessories? Sculpts and paint detail were insane. Plus the amazing packaging, the figure looks good even when kept in the box. As much as I love Spider-Man I don't get the hype for the Sentinel Wave Spidey, the only appeal it the Ditko look, but other than that I didn't think it was a good figure when I owned it.
Well except for the Toybiz packaging tending to yellow horribly.

Lol I don't know why, but I felt a sense of accomplishment knowing I have all ten, and don't even feel disappointed that none of them are still in the package.

Man Toy Biz gave so much back in the day. Complete accessories, bikes or vehicles, comics and a display base? I like what Hasbro is doing, but they will never offer the same value for money
With inflation the price of a $8 marvel legends from 2002 to now is 12.08. In Canadian 2021 that's about $15. Unbelievable...
As someone who has been completely unaware of the “Toybiz vs Hasbro” debate until now I’m gonna just through my hat into the ring and say that Hasbro sucks because they were the company that made Gi joes small again.
Nice video! Please do more videos with the Marvel Legends Toy Biz figures!! There are lots to cover, like the Face Off figures, variants, BAF, etc, etc !! For me, this is the golden era of Marvel Legends.

I bought apocalypse, mister sinister and Deadpool. Amazing how well they hold up to this day.
I have all of these except cable and moonknight.the reason I like these better than the newer legends is you got more accessories,a comic and many came with a diorama/ display piece.

It's funny seeing that particular Spidey at #1 cause it actually seems to sell for the least when you search it on eBay, hell I saw a mint one for just a little over $15 a few weeks back.

Man, this video stings... I have all the figs on the list, but none MOC... I built 3 of those Sentinels, but for the life of me, I couldn't tell you what I did with all the extra figs from that wave... I DID have extras of some of those wave 6 figs MOC (and this is where the stinging comes in) but I traded an MOC Juggy for the TB FA green Hulk variant, and an MOC Deadpool for the fugly TB Scarlet Witch (in my defense, at the time it was rumored that she was just such a mess that TB had decided to stop production after an initial limited run, so I thought I'd have a gold mine on my hands, but as I'm sure the collectors from back in the day remember, it wasn't long before TRU and Walmarts had PILES of her sitting around unsold)

I have the Apocalypse still in package. I still cant remember why I didn't open it when I got it. He and Toy Biz Colossus are the only one I have from that line.
Although the Video Game Super Stars figures aren't Marvel, they go for crazy amounts of money. I just saw a Mario Kart Toy Biz Series 1 figure sell for over 300 dollars, in average condition. That's just crazy.

So I had Blade, still have him. I didn't have too many of the toy biz figures and every time I got one I was disappointed. The articulation just wasn't quite right and they usually couldn't hold accessories correctly and I would get one and expect it to be better but it wasn't lol
5:00 damnit, I passed on him for a SP//dr wave Doc Ock awhile back. I mainly try to see what newer Legends they have and if they don't have any good ones then I look at Toybiz.
Demolition Man was a child's idea of what an R-rated film should be.
I only have Mr. Sinister, and I still much prefer him over the Hasbro offering thanks to the ornate details and superb paint job.
I’ve got two of the figures on this list, I have war machine and Mr. sinister, I unfortunately sold the black panther figure unaware of how much it was worth, but I had him loose so It didn’t come with the build a figure peace
If toybiz MLs scaled well with the hasbro figures, I think some of them will have a chance to be on the shelf.

Dang I used to have Moon Knight, Deadpool and War Machine and sold them for nothing. That War Machine was decked out and one of the best. I can’t believe that Spider-Man is the most expensive. I used to have it and the build was just janky and the legs were prone to warping
I have a Hobgoblin Space Venom Marvel Legends that is going for up to 300 on ebay. Just found that out and was blown away. Ive had it for about 5 years
I have all of those loose but Deadpool and apocalypse. I’ve always wanted that apocalypse but don’t really need Deadpool since we get a million of him a year. Back before the juggernaut wave came out I dreamt of a day when I could find Deadpool figures and now it’s like he’s on every shelf I see. I think Spider-Man only goes for that much because of his baf piece

I used the SOTA SF2 Sagat to make an amazing En Saba But. Cause I thought that Apocalypse was too wide.
I bought a lot of these waves since the BAFstarted. Think i Still have complete sets mint on card , for the Galactus, Sentinel, Modok. Apocalypse and Onslaught waves.
I regret selling my Deadpool CIB back in 2008.

6 out of 10... I have MOC Mr Sinister, Juggernaut, War Machine, Black Panther, Spiderman and loose Cable. If i only knew the peg warmers deadpool, moon knight and blade will be this valueble, i have collected them as well :(

I have had all of these at one point, except series 6 Deadpool. That figure has always evaded me, but it’s okay I have the juggernaut wave Deadpool, which I find to be definitive Deadpool action figure. The classic Deadpool figure that hasbro did in the Sasquatch wave is another fantastic Deadpool as well.
I actually have the entire list, all mint on card! I have most of the ToyBiz line all mint on card. For some reason when I collected them I decided not to open, and stuck by that all these years. I actually have 2 Deadpools and 2 Spidermans because KB Toys was doing a clearance sale and they had tons. Should have bought more!

Just so you know, Snapshot Spiderman is also extremely expenst. I've spent the cheapest 100$ on each one I currently have 5. But in box the cheapest I have found is 240$ and there's not really many left just like the Mcfarlane Spiderman.

I bought a Toy Biz Juggernaut in the box from a second hand store to sell at a profit, but I only BARELY managed to make a profit. I guess I sold it at a bad time because the Hasbro Build A Figure had come out a year or two before and not a lot of people were interested.
I wonder who the LEAST valuable Toy Biz figures are. Surely Longshot is #1, dude is still cheap as hell and nobody really wants him lmao
I literally picked up the Spiderman loose for $15 about a week ago. Also got the Juggernaut.
I picked up Tigra MIB in April 2020 for $28 plus free shipping. Neither the original owner or I had any idea she was worth more than that. I had been thinking about just throwing her away or something until I saw this video. Almost the same situation with my O.G. Juggernaut figure, only that seller just threw him in for an extra $10 cuz I was buying his BAF complete Juggy for $50

its odd. I love age of apocalypse ... first realized this from the 90's x men show and some of my favorite episodes.... imo the best x men movie and the comics about this is also just peak goodness But I dont have the figures lol. I dont know if I have the space is the reason...

got all of them...these are such feel good videos, knowing I bought these for $8 w/ my college allowance long ago, & now costing this much...but reading through some comments; yes .they were great way back, & I'm glad, they aged well & are highly valued...but, I wouldn't recommend new collectors to spend their money on these. just collect the recent Hasbro figures (of 5 years ago to current).

thought i'd educate my self on toybiz marvel legends since im debating whether or not to get the spider-man first appearance
one my oldest Marvel legends/marvel figure is the 2008 black symbiote spiderman from the movie which i got when sears was still open and a thing it stands proudly in my collection of the new marvel legends collection spider-men on shelf i had toybiz carnage might get him again as well can you do a list of a popular spiderman figures next. ( i was around 8 years old when i got the black symbiote movie figure haha )
I promise you never but a Toy biz marvel legend with the intent on opening it. Every figure is over 15 years some closer to 20, the quality control is on of their only problems. These figures have been vacuumed sealed for over a decade. For all intents and purposes they are collectors items. I recommend you only buy loose! Most toy biz figures have been updated by hasbro.
@@mangotheif well aware of buying lose toybiz figures since their a bit cheaper then in box haha but marvel legends i had some bad luck with cause i live in a hot state the plastic heats up to much screwing up the joints of the figure at first
broke a few due to that but learned not to move a figure right of the box also i learned that the black suit spider-man marvel legends figure from the movie has 2 years of production 2007 im guessing first release of the figure and 2008 was second release or a reissue of it i have also learned that if you broke/lost the left arm since hasbro for some god forsake reason made half the arm on a moveable joint removeable you can put on the 2007 blacksuit spider-man arm on the 2008 spiderman i also would like to note that they both have a different joint on the left arm it will take a good 20 minutes unless your strong lolz to put that arm on but it is do able. thought i'd leave this knowledge here incase someone is trying to fix their own black suit spidey but jesus i must have been a strong kid when i was little that arm piece was no joke getting off Lolz

should've included the super poseable x2 and raime Spider-Man lines, those were the precursors to marvel legends, the Spider-Man is super expensive and the x2 magneto is the most rare toy biz marvel figure, there's only one magneto on the entire internet for sale in the package for $200, same difference with the x2 iceman and trench coat Cyclops!
