I believe here in Australia we get 4 years - not positive about that. I know with BMW we get a 5 year warranty, which is the longest for BMW anywhere in the world.
in EU we have 4years of warranty and unlimited milleage. Law is requring only two…but due to competition Ducati is giving 4…for example BMW is giving 5. However, the trick is that in order to get the extended warranty beyond 2years….you have to do all the service at autorized dealers only. This rule is at every brand.
Canada has the same 2 year standard warranty as the US (not surprisingly). The big difference is, or at least when I bought my xDiavel, is they don’t offer a manufacturer’s extended warranty. Only 3rd party. Glad to see you back!
I own v4 pikes peak bought new in August 2022, I’ve done 17000 miles and still have two years warranty to go as we get 4 year warranty with multisradas in uk.
In India we have similar terms for warranty on my Multi V4s. 2 years is offered free with the bike and I have taken an extended warranty for 2 more years with the same terms. Sorry to hear about your health issues. Hope you become and remain fully fit for the future. Take care and ride safe buddy. Cheers
Hey man, pretty good deal on extended warranty, well worth it if your gonna keep the Pikes peak. Take it easy and recover quickly, keep the Vlogs coming. 👍🏻
I purchased the Ducati extended warranty when I purchased my V4S for three additional years (5 total). I did the same with my previous 2015 Multi 1200S and one fuel pump replacement paid for it all! Looking forward to hearing your input on the airbag vest, looking towards the Rev'it option myself.
Wishing good health to you. I use the Tech Air and the Tech Air 5. The basic Tech Air is the generation that zips into the Tech Air Touring jacket and leather jacket to make a riding protection system. Of course the 5 is a newer generation, just like the 7 is that you have. I don’t see how you can ride with any of the airbag safety systems in Florida. I cannot ride with either of them if the temperature is greater than 80 degrees. Which is disappointing at least. Riding with these systems is like wearing an insulated plastic jacket on in the summer. These things are basically plastic bags over your body and prevent air from flowing over your skin! Even though it was 77 degrees today, i will not use them. Below 75, yes i will ride with them.
$910 is a really good price, ... Feel better, I am 55 and really good shape, workout since 15 years old, and also had things starting to pop up... went through the cardiac episode last year,, irregular heart beats, high heart rates at rest... did all tests, and all clear, and it just kind of fixed itself, so far at least, they think maybe Covid, I was sick few weeks before it started with covid real bad ....Best wishes....
I would love to know. I am curious as to whether that some sort of a requirement in Europe and since it’s not a requirement here they don’t do it or it’s because of the cost because we’re so much further away from the factory whereas in Europe, it’s convenient to potentially ship the bike back to Italy.
Older my a$$. You don't look a day older than 40 😉. I also extended my HD R1250S for 2 years but for 400€ and I think that's a lot. Specially because since 2022 every motorcycle sold in the EU comes with a 3 year warranty by law, and funny enough, every manufacturer usually offers another year. So having bought my bike in October 2021 I was left out of that deal, and for a new bike with new engine and electronics I'm not comfortable not having that warranty. Keep on rollin' Rembo. Cheers from Portugal
@@RemboUSMC You can bet it's sincere. As I was watching your video and hearing your description of your body type I was thinking that you really sell yourself short. You look awesome 👍
My Pikes Peak is 2 years old tomorrow Oct 6, 2024 so my warranty is ending. What warranty do you get in other parts of the world?

In thailand we have 4 years unlimited milleage and then we go to service they give after service warranty 6 months.
Glad recovery is going well and great to hear the extension of warranty is an option.
900 for 2 years is actually a pretty good deal. Especially for expensive ass ducati repairs. Glad you're feeling better from the accident
Hi Rembo - wishing you all the best with your recovery and health from 🇬🇧. Looking forward to seeing the alpinestars review.
Thank you Jimmy
Hey brother, just wanted to second your comment on getting older. But I love your attitude and want to encourage you to keep on truckin’
I appreciate that

Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Well done, Rembo, have a great time on track with your 390! Let us know how it goes on slicks .

That's the plan!

Thanks for sharing. I was going out this Sunday but a massive rain storm that is still ongoing ruined my plans. Now I have to sit out a hurricane!
Feel better!
Thanks!
Similar pricing to extend warranty on BMWs. Although my bike not being a Ducati, I didn't need to extend it. 😊
Lol
welcome back

We will see how this goes. It is definitely hot here. The winters are not as bad with lower humidity and highs in the 70'sF during the day.
Damn Brother make sure you take care of the body!

Hi Rembo, glad that you're getting better! Do you know why we don't have the 4 years warranty stock like in Europe?

Thanks for the compliment!! I turn 60 in July 2025 so that is a major compliment (if sincere) lol.

What part of Florida are you? Tampa here
South Florida just above Fort Lauderdale. You better hold on to your hat with Milton coming!
Belguim you get 4 years warranty from Ducati 👌🏻
That's twice as much as we get here in the states.
