This game taught me one thing if things don't work out it's often a "me" problem and my first question always is "What am I missing."
My friend and I have a running joke. If someone isn't pulling their weight or constantly dying the other asks "is something wrong with your build" and the answer is always yes
Wardloop was a brutal learning experience for me. Probably the most sensitive build I've ever pieced together and I hated it all 3 times I did it.
W take. Totally agree!
Has All the Gear, except the Most Essential Piece of gear
Which build is this for?
@@dakota8189 Exploding totems if I'm not mistaken.
@@dakota8189 no worries. Stay sane, exile 😊
I've seen lads with ridiculous sums worth of gear with perfect corrupted implicits and everything. Had catastrophic flaws in their build that there isn't a chance a person with that kind of gear would not have noticed because they would have realized "Man this kinda sucks for what it costs." Gives a good laugh when it happens.
Clearly they bought their currency
@@JayBigDadyCy you can guess but you cant say 100% .. therefore you should say nothing
@@zav3760 yea but in either case you can still laugh at them
@@zav3760 But you can tell like 99%, why should we not mock them? We are not a court system, our standard doesn't need to be beyond a reasonable doubt.
@@zav3760 this guy RMTs
Wym? Totems don’t just explode on their own??
this is a game changer for me
What do you mean I have to put a point in the node that says "totems explode"?
I know, right?
New gem: Totem of Continous Explosions! XD
Dont let zizz see my wardloop
oh god XD i gotta see this
Everyone has that one person in the group that tries 6 builds and complains about them because they're just missing something that they've overlooked on a guide and don't know why they aren't one shoting everything on maps
Got a mate that doesn't roll his flasks any league and gets to level 90~ with non instant flasks and 3000 hp and complains about being stunned and that life and the flasks won't help xD Does it every league.
I know someone who I'm certain was RMTing as he already has mirror-tier gear early in the league. And it's only been a year or so since he started playing, and the kicker is that he actually RMTd for his first minion build lol.
@@kizzagaming6523What a dummy
Then there's me, who spends more time in pob, than ingame and my builds still suck. 😂
@@philippdrescher6012I usually keep fucking with different combination of ways to increase damage before figuring out what’s the best way to scale the skill. First time making a build took me like 9 hours to make a creeping frost build that did 15 mil dps. This was before they increased cold damage too. After doing that for a handful of leagues I feel like you start to get down which way each would scale. Would probably be easier to look up the scaling of each, but the trial and error helps familiarize you with all the variations.
I like beating games with entry/budget gear or in some cases near or full naked when applicable
Sounds like this one time my guildy played RF and was wondering why his damage felt so shit. He had herald of ash on when it was the version of EE before exposure.
Like the good old saying "all the gear but no idea" 😂😂
Me following pohx guide for RF and I was pissed I was getting one shot with all the resistances and all the life and armor and everything. I realized I had a shield that said one thing, and one thing only that was fking me in the ass so badly, you cannot block. That line was destroying my whole life and I learned how to do pob and how to calculate and how to import builds and all that just to understand why I was fucked but I couldn't becuase pob didn't have the Crucible trees yet at that time. Changed the shield, now I'm invincible
...... But yea can't blame ya If u are new 😅
IF its "saffels frame" then its a good shield. I believe its "cannot block attacks" which is fine since youre an armor stacker as juggernaut. With a corruption implicit, you can get spell block which is different than attack block. Your armor protects you from melee hits, while the shield gives you maximum resistance and you can get extra spell block on it. Enemies hit you as melee damage, you can tank that. Enemies hit you with spells, you can get like 60%+ (maximum chance is 75% chance to block) spell block with that shield.
What i would look at is map mods, enemy mods (yes rares have modifiers separate from maps mods) and using your guard skill (molten shell) correctly.
@@Kaldzi1993 He quite literally explained what he did wrong. Maybe read the whole message before responding, lol.
Its not really the shield's fault. You just dont have enough raw mitigation to counteract the damage. In most cases a spell block from a saffel's frame might actually save you compared to a regular shield with just an attack block, because the majority of the hits that can one shot often come from big hitting spells. It's also one of the reasons why spell suppression stat is so valuable in crafted boots.
To be fair, I just had like 8divs worth of gear, but was still using Life and quicksilver flask I got during Campaign.. cuz I was too lazy to bother getting new flasks. 🙄🙈😅 (I finally bit the bullet and bought flasks.)
My buddies would do this every damn league, in red maps with a level 4 scoured quicksilver (from tidal Island quest) so I started very intentionally picking up every level 80+ flask. Then I discovered how much those sell for and started making several divines a league on random flasks👍
That reminds me if the time I wanted to level a twink using hollow palm. I did well until I was in Act 2, had all the uniques and the tree, however it took ages to kill the bandits. On the third bandit I thought this can't be right there is something wrong and I noticed I socketed the Hollow Palm Jewel but didn't allocate it 😂
Everyone doing hollow palm has done that at least once, don't worry about it lmao
I have around 1.2k hours in PoE (nothing special about it ofc but I’d say I’m not a complete beginner anymore) and It took me almost an hour or so to realize about hollow palm 😂
I was like : « but, this is legit unplayable ».
Once belton told the story about a guy who mirrored his bow and asked what amulet should he use with this bow
I'm on console. I'm gonna have to craft most of everything for my build
That has to be a troll. I don't even play PoE but I watch some content on it and even I knew that's the lynch pin of the build.
You'd be surprised to learn how oblivious people can be sometimes 😹
@omega8 You should play! You probably understand more than half the player base (including me) !
Wow, gwts Time, Mort and Justice and absolutely ficks it up lol
This happened to me, one time. And one time only, then i realized how stupid i was 😂🎉 45 div invested and it did worse than my 1 div league starter. 😅😂😂😂😂
No use to do all strats for early divs when you spend them wrong 😂
I envy that kind of player bc I’m the kind that tries to follow crafting guides and bricks like 5 items into being broke instead
Got a friend that play Tornado shot every single League and make it into a mirror build . This league he used some of his extra currency to make a cast on stun chieftain ... But didn't spec his stun to be based on his energy shield .
He had all the right gear for the endgame version of the build.
But no fking clue on how the build actually works.
I do believe that some ppl are just clueless
"Ill have a small latte"
Those who dont know: 😊
Germans: 💀
Average PoE ninja build. All bought currency and paid legion 5 ways to level 100
Is the ancients season still going or we in off season? I took the last off but getting the itch to play again
they are every where, in this discord i swear the number 1 question is do i really need enlighten support when i say im using awaken and the vid shows awaken with only 50 mana left, ive also had someone ask to buy my gear on the spot that i was using and link the build for 50 bucks when the build cost 2.5 divines
I mean im new to the game and i follow guides but sometimes they just say what to do not why. Which leads to me to be worried about making the exact same mistake the other guy is. Like for example the corrupting fever guide from max roll literally doesnt tell you why you build the majority of gear you use. So you are just left with trying to copy the build the best you can without understanding what stats are a priority. Kinda surprised you didnt say this actually…..
redditors in a nutshell
Quit Poe if u want to pay to win… money can’t solve stupidity
So im very new have leveled two toon to 60-70 i have no idea ehat hes taking about. I follow guides i think, i used the toxic rain build that everyone was recommending for new players and this never has been mentioned. I used a maxroll guide for the second. What is the mechanic your talkig about?
I'm honestly that player. I don't use path of building. I enjoy leveling. I've made like 15 characters since Affliction came out, still haven't down'd normal Maven yet. Many times I see a new level 80 character as more fun than a +10% damage boost for the same currency.
I get there eventually but damn.
I got lucky and found an apothecary card and got "rich", but still don't know if I'm doing things right. It's my first league clearing all maps in the Atlas.
Don’t fret over it. The game’s so complex people with thousands of hours will miss seemingly obvious things. Being efficient or doing things right only matters if it’s fun

@@krying2971 but he’s saying that the smooth brain ziz was talking about in the clip might have just gotten lucky with a big drop and been able to buy everything else without understanding how to make the build function

I hope not.
Mainly cause maxroll guides just tell you what to do not why. Ofc noobs will make the mistake that this dude made ita inevitable and probably how the majority of people learned pob and builds. Probably happened to zizz too but hed rather blame the guy for rmting and get free content than be realistic. Smh this 1 short makes ziz look like an idiot to me
Literally me getting carried by my friends rn lol.
They might have, but I'm not convinced. I've done this so many times. I hate to level new characters in POE, therefore I usually regrett existing characters once i have farmed like 25-50 divines. Then I just spend 1-2 hours buyingall the gear I need from guides. Very often Im just stupid enbough to miss very big, synergies and stuff that make the build work. Im just saying there is another explination haha. Stupidity xD
Hi Ziz, I have 150 Div what is a fun build to map with?
I mean, you can just have a decent league starter nowadays and mindlessly farm the currency without understanding the build that you're farming for. I lot of player's first piece if advice is to "follow a build" so its natural that a lot players reach this level of intermediate knowledge while missing a lot of fundamentals
It's so goofy how noobs will come in, RMT a godly build, then complain it sucks cause they don't know how to play
Reminds me of all the ppl who whisper me about my rain of arrows bleed gladiator then they say to me "But MBX spent over 100 divines" and i literally make that ziz face everytime they bring MBX name to me.
I am like, for starters, you don't need to pay 30-60 divines on jewels to cap your feenzy charges when you can do it with manaforged support+frenzy 😓🤦♂️🤦♂️
I'm not surprised at all. This game is overcomplicated and rng based. I have been lucky once, in years of playing this game, to randomly have a 30 divine item drop. Then I switched to a build I've never played before to realize I made a mistake. And I'm very through. Imagine someone slightly less thorough...it would be easy to make mistakes in POS... I mean POE. Throw new players into a new and equally complicated game. They would make many mistakes. This includes the POE obsessed.
You're not thorough enough evidently
I mean you literally just need to read
@hana2634 it's a "video" game not a book game.
I'm still trying to get your toxic rain build to 90 lol I suk
I got my tr pf to 85... Found that totems explode node on a bow I was cruci-blinging... Started screwing with that and made a second pathfinder which is almost 90 now. The difference is insane... So much poison!!!
@@jamtaco2667 just be careful relying on explode totems its probably like 5x stronger then any other build would be in other leagues and its 100% getting nerfed into the ground
I don't see why this is RMT lol. I farmed 500d with my Berzerker, baught all the gear for a futur lvl 100 char. Created the char, paid 5ways to lvl it to 100. Then only respected and used the gears.
I understood nothing about the intricated mechanics of the build, understood it by playing it.
It's even worse when a lot of cool builds literally don't even function until you sink dozens of divines (even higher for certain builds) into it first so there is no way to realize how the interactions work until then. You're gambling on theorycraft and hoping the end-result works out, which a lot of people don't have the knowledge, and hence confidence, to do. It's a lot easier to just trust someone reputable with more experience, hence situations like this not being uncommon imo where people miss key interactions/items in their expensive builds.
I started with a Necro build and built up the coffers and moved over to a Slayer Static Strike STR build. I basically built it with currency and not drops. Couldn't get the chest piece to drop, didn't get replica alberons--didn't even get a boom mace so I used the currency I had to do the build. I haven't played long and "POE" is not my first language. If it's not directly obvious, I'll probably miss it because I just don't know. If someone said I paid cash for my build, I'd get upset over the accusation. I had the most simplest of builds to get the currency I EARNED. I just didn't get much luck in getting to the gear--also, I am new like I said, I barely grasp crafting mechanics.
How do you have the map on the middle
Press tab
There are plenty of people who don't watch the guides and just copy the paste bin
With money he means like "money"? Or just big money
Real money
Just run Casia nonstop and you have 20-30div/day
the only guide i couldn't follow is the money making ones... I'm poor as shit for someone wanting his end goal of the league to get A SINGULAR MB OR HH
this doesn't mean he rmt, I can make 50 div + a day crafting random stuff in my hideout but I have no idea how gem, skill etc work, I always just copy pob but don't ask me how my build work I have no idea.
Im all for copying guides but brain needs to be used a little bit especially in ziz builds there is a helpful note section that helps you with these problems 😂
They could have also farmed the money on another character then tried the build out by buying everything. I have made 6 characters in Tota league alone, i dont farm money with my new chars to gear them i use the other characters.......
Checked a forum post of a build I tried recently, because I was not sure about something. Another dude asked for tips because he felt really weak.
Dude had basically the same gear as the build creator, with a lot of great rolls... he was also level 97 or something and missing two ascendancies and with that almost 2k energy shield and a lot of damage (hierophant). I was a bit perplexed, as having this gear alone should make you a really good PoE player, given it mainly was stuff that drops from endgame bosses or costs 1 divine+ per item. I did not think about RMT at the time, but this would explain it, probably. Or maybe just a lucky apothecary drop or something, and then went on a shopping spree.
Or he knew how to craft, then sell those items to get the currency.
That's one of the worst things about the game. To players that don't have encyclopaedia levels of knowledge you can easily follow a guide and miss one thing that grenades the whole build.
I mean he could just of gotten a lucky drop
Trade league players in a nutshell use credit card to buy gear but no clue what they buying
It's funny because the guides don't actually guide you lmao they just tell you what they have on so like how is he supposed to follow a guideless guide 😂
😂😂😂😂
I made 3 Mirrors worth of currency this League with sextant rolling and I got 0 idea about that game and builds so its possible without buying currency.
😂 was leveling and putting together the build before steel did his and prices went through the roof so I rolled the build with a scion. cuz I was tired of going eldritch battery for every build. worked out pretty well
😂😂😂
I have the 400% is it good? Or the 800% shit is better?
The 800% is worth the farm for it. You won't find it in the trade site because everyone is using it instead of selling it so you have to farm it yourself.
@@jardxtreme how can I farm it?
@@KVenturi sadly you need to trial and error the shitty league mechanic
Is there 800%? Lol didnt knew
I don't know about that Ziz, allot of people just farm for months on a single character with a bad build trying to make it work. Also having guild friends that make a ton of currency on boring cookie cutter build and help other guild mates out is a huge help and is most likely what happened. Also you can just hang out in global 2 and people do build giveaways and div giveaways. I got tricked into thinking the LA fast af build would be cheap and viable, not realizing it can barely do boss's without dying to 1 shots. 280 deaths later I'm still not giving up on it.
There's a difference between getting baited into playing a build where you need high invest to make it good vs playing something that your entire build and gear is built around cold damage and then not getting conversion on your watcher's eye and mastery. If you just look at your gear you'll see you are focusing on cold damage, and skill doesn't do it by default.
Totems are a very unique build which is build around that one mod, without it, it does not work, not that its bad or needs high investment, it just does not work.
You could just make a totems explode bow in ossuary and enjoy the ridiculousness the rest of us have been laughing at 😂
Builds without 100% spell suppression, grace and determinafion and 4k+ life are all bait then. Because without these you get one shot by something whether it's a spell or an attack.
30 divines for totem explodes , you got ripped off. more like 5 tops.
Some enterprising young POE God should just create a site dedicated to us filthy casuals. Like maybe featuring the best one button push builds. 😂 You know. Builds for us mere mortals.
There are plenty of youtube channels doing things like "1 divine builds". Just need to search for it!
Or he just casually went over the build and accidently missed one of the most crucial parts. Some people follow builds somewhat blindly because the alternative is to spend a bunch of time getting deep into the construction. If you can get by 99% of the times doing that then mistakes like this happens.
Bruh I just started this league got a void key had a look at the price missread it for chaos so instead I got a shit foil shield that's worth jack😂
This is my first league back since probably 4 ago, and I dropped 2 of those keys in the campaign. I had no idea what the hell it was, asked my buddy who was already super deep in the league and he was like "you found what????" Lmao long story short, I'm a gambling whore so I used both of then and got garbage from it haha
That's a huge problem with the game, you need to know everything to make it work
not rlly if you take 10mins to read about ur build instead of simply copy pasting you will have a much easier time understanding ur main dmg multipliers and all the other stuff
Zizs knows cuz he sold the gear to him.
I cant wait till AI optimizes this game to the point where builds are just made to be efficient and cost efficient
What? whats the point of the game then?
What if AI created builds become a genre
Wtf is wrong with you

You don’t need nearly that much time. The answer to your question is “lots of people.”
Because it cheapens the accomplishments of legitimate players, fucks up the economy, and its cheating. Fuck people who RMT. You do not need 50 hours a week to do end game content.
A lot of people drive their enjoyment of games from comparing themselves to other people. If other people do something outside the game to get ahead, it cheapens the game for them and people don't want to play/compete in that arena.
