I'm 100% in on this line. I have all the figures released up to this point. Paitently waiting on Marcus Brody and Belloq two pack and the Cario Indy. I missed out on the 2008 3.75 line so I wasn't going to miss out on Indy figures again.
Exactly the same here. I was a dumb 16 year old that thought he was too old for toys back in 2008. Then a year later, I realised how rare getting Indy stuff even was and that you can still buy toys as an adult but by then, they'd mostly gone away. I took them for granted and thought they'd be around all the time now like Star Wars. I said to myself that I'm not making that mistake twice. I've also got all the figures so far up to Temple Escape Indy. The ones you mentioned and the Wave 2 figures have been preordered and I'm just waiting on them
Am I missing something or did the map room Indy never get a preorder date? Is it exclusive to somewhere?

I intentionally passed on the 3.75 line from 2008 since I don't collect smaller scaled figure lines. In fact, the only scales I do collect are 6 inches and 7 inches. So, I was ecstatic when Hasbro announced this line. This was what I always wanted as far as Indy figures go. Glad that I can finally have this franchise represented in my collection now.
I absolutely love the Adventure Series. Super bummed though that we got a Helena figure before Willie Scott given that this is a more “Temple of Doom” driven wave. Then they skipped right to Elsa for wave three. I’m hoping and praying we still get Willie 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Yeah, I feel like Willie and Mola Ram should have been part of this wave instead of Helena and Dial of Destiny Indy. I hope we get those two somewhere down the line.
My favorite Indy figure so far is the one from Dial of Destiny. The paintjob and sculpt are amazing, plus it doesn't have to deal with the strap issue.
Eagerly waiting for Last Crusade Indy and Henry Jones Sr.
A mola ram figure would be SICK in this line, and Indy will have a bad guy to fight!
I'm concerned at the lack of Willie or Mola Ram. What's the point of making a Temple of Doom themed wave without the leading lady or main villain?
Agreed, given that the lego set was canceled, and the retro figs are only advertising indy and short round in the series, I hope that mola ram gets a figure in 6 inches at least.
I hope so too, that would be really lame if they don’t make those two and there would be no excuse. Hopefully they come in a two pack at least.
My favourite figure I have so far is Temple Escape Indy. But Temple of Doom Indy will probably be my favourite when I get it. It looks so good and a perfect one to pose. I love how he looks holding the sword above his head and also holding the bag out like he's about to drop it from the bridge
I'm not sure if they'll do it because it could be controversial; but I hope we get Indy in his German soldier disguise along with the rocket launcher from the first movie.
They can still do quite a few from Raiders still, I would like a Cairo Swordsman, German mechanic, German soldier disguise Indy, and other German soldiers.
At first I was only going to get one Indiana Jones, but then I saw the quality and the accessories and I bought every figure since. I love this line it's just fun. Not perfect but fun. Black Series is my primary collection but these are great. The Artifact is an epic choice. My favorites are Shortround and temple escape and club Obi-Wan. I don't even really need the hat to come off indy because I can swap out the heads. Having everything swappable is an absolute game changer. @ landspeederluke if you do a 3d file of a mine cart a refrigerator or wicker basket for Marion I'm in. @hasbro I need vehicles and a horse. Thanks Landspeederluke there is not a ton of coverage on this line leave it to you to knock it out of the park. Great video as always.
Little too much Indy in this wave, but considering I’m likely a completionist for this line, I don’t mind! Picked up Club Obi-Wan Indy and Short Round at Target yesterday, nice to finally get some Temple of Doom figures in my collection!

Great review! I love your Indy reviews. I've levelled off collecting Black Series, but this Indy series is taking it's place.
Would have been nice if the crystals in artefact would light up. Really looking forward to the last crusade figures and the likenesses. Agree more artefacts needed around for Star Wars.
It's interesting that the Hypnotized Indy has an opening bag, that's probably handy for putting the Sankara stones in to recreate Indy's getaway with said artifacts, though it is irksome for being one of those things that forcefully incentivizes buying multiple figures for a stronger look (though admitedly the build-an-artifact thing does that already). Also funny enough the lack of that in the tattered Temple Indy motivated me to track down the old 3 3/4" Temple Indy figure, but at least that figure has a Mola Ram to fight.
I'm also really happy to find that the ToD/DoD wave is hitting Targets already, was excited to find Old/DoD Indy in time to prep for the movie release next weekend. Though I'm as irked as I was with the reveal that he doesn't come with an uncoiled/cracking whip in the new darker color to allow him some more dramatic posings that fit with the included accessory. Since I don't trust the line to be expansive enough to offer that accessory, I'm looking at alternative options for a whip to give him (though I know I could paint a spare whip from another Indy, I'd like to not have to worry about chipping/sealing procedures for such a flimsy/rubbery acessory)

I don't collect this line, but that deluxe Indy with the pedestal is very tempting! Thinking of using that pedestal for a little world building for my Saw and Luthen figures!
When I look at the Temple of Doom Indy, I can hear "Mola Ram! Prepare to meet Kali, in hell!"
The Temple of Doom figure is probably my favourite one so far. It looks so good. I love the way they've posed him in the promo photos with him holding the sword up and holding the bag over the bridge
It old torch, and Indy I’m hoping they make is the Scottish Lord Indy and his lovely assistant maybe as a two pack 😄

Out of the 7 Indiana Jones figs that you have there, I only have the Temple run Indy, Professor Jones, Club Obi Wan Indy, and Dial of Destiny Indy. I have been unsuccessful in finding Map Room Indy and Im just now seeing Wave 2 figures in stores. My favorite is the Temple Run Indy. It stand’s really well and is just a damn good looking figure then Club Obi Wan Indy. I wanted Professor Jones to one my favs but struggle keeping it standing and I just got the Dial of Destiny Indy today so the jury is out on it. Will keep you posted! I also collect Black series figs too!
The shiny little silver accessory that comes with the Anna Shaw & Indy figures is a flashlight. And I am new to your channel on TH-cam as well I purchase certain Star Wars Black Series 6inch figures as well I'm also going to start collecting most of the Indiana Jones Adventure Series Figures for my own collection as well.
Definitely the Indy Jones figure line look incredible. I can't afford to start another collection. And if I was it would be GIJoe for myself.
If I did collect this line I'd only get figures from Raiders of the Lost Ark and maybe get Indy's father and Shortround I think 🤔.

I haven't collected this line at all, but may want some of them now. Definitely want the classic young Indy and Short Round!
It's funny you got these today cuz I just found Short Round at Gamestop in Canada yesterday! He's a pretty great figure. They also had Phoebe Waller-Bridge, but I didn't get her. I'm hoping we get Willie in her Shanghai dress.
I don't normally collect hasbro stuff, but this line & Dungeons & Dragons have hooked me. I hope this line has legs & actually get Diericht, Mola Ram, Willie & Vogel. Also would like the German mechanic, Lao, Maharajah and TLC Sallah & Marcus (maybe as a two pack).
Man so many customization options with each figure you presented! What would you think about using that shirtless Indy for That scene specific shirtless Kylo? Plus that Indy hat on well…..every figure I own lol! Thanks for these !

Short Round is adorable and He'll look great next to the SHF Indy when it comes out.
That Short Round looks cool, he just needs a New York Giants logo on his hat.
The Dial of Destiny is def my favorite Indy fig. Best Indy head sculpt imo, the darker brown fits well and the lasso peg holder is nice. Oh and the accessories make for great display.

I’m mostly picking and choosing with this series. Mostly Indy. I plan to pick up kali Indy, Cairo Indy, crusade Indy and Henry. Other than that the other ones I plan to collect I’m debating. They are short round and the belloq 2 pack. I might get willie when she shows up, but I’ll definitely pick up mutt if he gets released. I only want to make a smaller Indy display, not every character.

It's dumb that you'd have to get the Dial of Dysentery figures to build the Temple of Doom artifact. At least to build the Ark they made it so you got all the Raiders figures. The sankara stones should have been all the Temple of Doom figures. Both ToD Indy figures are good, but imperfect. The bridge scene Indy is definitely due for a head swap because of that goofy smile.
Short Round looks good. And Donovan is cool because he comes with the decaying head (just like Toht from Wave 1). I wish they had a Belloq with an exploding head too, but I guess you could always chop the figure's head up, repaint, and get some wire to make it look like the pieces are flying.
I do want Short Round. I like Indy from Doom, but I'd end up having to buy another Raiders Indy just to get the head swapped so that'd be an expensive figure. Donovan is a pick up if I can find him (done doing the online shopping thing, too easy to spend money there).
Let me know when Mola Ram gets made, I really want him. I also want Henry Jones Sr. and General Vogel with an Indy in the German steward uniform so I can recreate the dirigible scene. No ticket!

I have the basic Indy plus Temple Indy and Short Round on Pre-Order. Will probably get Marion and Henry Sr, but I really wish we had some generic bad guys for him to fight.
The hat being glued to indy is my only gripe with this line. I dont get it. The crystal skull indys from 2008 were my favourites. Tho i got 2 jacket indys for an extra hat. Loved recreating the had grab when i was playing
so far I've picked up raiders indy and temple of doom indy (and yes, my machete was bent too). I wanna get old indy and short round and will get henry jones sr. when they release him.

How does short round look without the jacket
They really need to refine the 'photo real' process on these. I can see Ford in all of the head sculpts, but the tampos on the faces is actually hurting the sculpt. For example, with the exception of the possessed Indy figure (shirtless), we should not be able to perceive any white of the eyes from a distance. Ford's eyes, unless shocked or surprised, are usually squinting, and it would really sell the likeness more if the 'photo real' eyes were more narrow. This is especially needed for his iconic one-sleeve look from TOD. All the eyes here look kind of cartoonish.
Can the Indy hat fit in the hatless Indy figures?

Well i am an indy collector primarily. I tried to dive into black series many times but just can’t lol. Line is to deep in and when indy got announced it just became a perfect starting point though indy for me is purely nostalgic anyway though star wars is to but ya.
Can you place the Indy-hat from the Short Round figure on the other Harrison Ford figure-releases, which came without a hat?

Tape the machete (sword) to a popsicle stick or something else flat and straight and let it sit for a couple of hours or overnight, and see how it has straightened, if it’s not major tape it to the stick again and use a blow dryer or hot water to form it to the stick making it straight.

I’ve got a ton of Star Wars figures and thought I’d be happy with the 2008 run of Indy Figures… I gotta get a few of these though. Too good to pass up. Need Indy, Henry and the Grail knight for sure. How about a 4 pack of Indy, Henry, Marcus and Sallah in a 4 pack with horses?! Riding off into the sunset

In my opinion they should have the ability to remove the hat from the figure. Whether it just sits on the head sculp or there is a small hole in indy's head and a peg in the hat it doesn't matter imo. Never the less the figures still look great

Question for you Luke; of the 6 new figures in Wave 3, which one are you most looking forward to unboxing?

It annoys me greatly that the head with no hat is slightly larger than the hatted head with Indy

For the most part this line is great, however I suspect it will be be short lived (due to the failure of the new Disney movie) and ham stringed by the fact that I doubt we'll be seeing any of the iconic Indie villains that were present in the 2008 3.75" line due to Disney's politically correct licensing policies, as we should have seen at least some of them by now other than white men in suits. The fact that we've had so many Indies which really should have been spread out in various waves suggests how limited the range of characters Hasbro had to explore. Also, no pipeline reveals is very telling.

The first Indiana is my favorite but I do like the club obi wan version....I'm only interested in getting figures from Raiders and Temple of Doom with the exception of The Sean Connery figure And I would also get the Sallah from last crusade as well but thr line will be all for not if we don't get Mola Ram .....
Oh and I only collect Indy stuff, I got turned off of SW with the whole Disney thing and totally lost interest in SW .
