I have shipped an envelope usps the same size they sent me. It cost me around 5 dollars. they charge 14 dollars to ship a little envelope with these adapters in them. just a warning be ready to overpay.

Cdogg2233 I found what appears to be your order. I do not see that you paid for custom sizing. WE have people order these everyday without issues. I am sorry the site is not clear enough for you. If you do not pay for the custom size, there is no trigger that the order has notes for custom sized mounting diameter.
Rob Tacotunes its not clear because you can still leave special instructions even if you order the standard one and i figured since the aftermarket tweeters i bought say 1 inch in the specs so i thought that would be right but just to be sure in the special instructions i included the tweeters I am putting in them so you guys being the professionals could inform me if i did need to order the custom ones and it makes no sense to pay money to send them back after I have already recut them and installed them myself just to order the right size then ask santa for this magical code that will grant me reasonable shipping charges on the new ones.
have you seen the bullet super tweeters??? how do you hook those things up, if they dont sell them with cross overs?? I normally have component sets of speakers that come with their own crossovers. thanks for the info.
I have a hard time believing you were able to put that factory cover back over that tweeter and find it suspicious you did not. There is very little room there. Your mount looks way too thick.
I just mounted the tweeters with wire sheet metal that has holes drilled into it, not sure what you call it. Tweeters don't need a fancy mount. I did however buy the door mounts for my camry from tacotunes, they are really awesome.
So the speaker in the dash that he just took out and proceeded to shove inside the car is a mid range 2 3/4" ......right......so the new speaker he then puts in its place is a high range 1 1/2" tweeter it looks like to me, yes?.....so why not just flush mount that new 1 1/2" tweeter in a new location, or even surface mount it, and replace and buy a new 2 3/4" speaker to replace that defective looking factory "piece of paper" that he shoved into the dash?....I myself have a '05 camry XLE and this is a step in upgrading my whole audio system....I also wanna add an extra set of 6x9 into rear dash, anybody know if this is possible, or even logical?.......I already have a 250 watt amp with a JL 12" sub in the trunk as well, and my head unit is 500 watts also
How would you wire Tweeters to the door speakers? I'm thinking of installing components but I don't have factory wiring anymore. How would I connect these to the crossover in the door? Would the dash come off? I doubt I'd be able to fish it down behind the glove/steering column on the other side. If anybody has any ideas I appreciate it!
@@johnnypoole8176 for sure lmk. I'm pretty sure you're just going to fish the wire down to the below dash area. It will probably sound pretty nice with that reflection off the windshield. Scatter the sound a little bit
This is the same for a 2009 Camry for me it was the first time opening it in 11 years (when I got the car) and it was hard to pry open because it was sticky due to melting wax on dashboard
I looked up the same thing. Did u ever find a video on how to replace the tweeters on a 2007 camry. I replaced the rear speakers and the door speakers on my 2007 camry because they weren't drawing enough power and it was sending all the power to my subwoofer causing it to sound a little off.

Charles Phillips I just got new coaxials in my 04 camry and the factory tweeter is still installed. It sounds like absolute garbage at high volume w an amp so If I just unplug the harness it will be fine right? Like do I have to disconnect anything at the head unit or anything? Any advice would be helpful thanks
You don't have to disconnect anything at the headunit. Since you have coaxials, you could probably leave the tweeter in, but you have to unplug the tweeter from the harness. As long as you cut it and remove the tweeter or leave it in and bolt it back down again it should be fine.

My Camry dash tweeters are 2.75 inch not 3.5 inch.......and I believe 2.75 inch are mid range technically not tweeters

Not removing the tweeter means you'll have to worry about banging around. It's just a sloppy thing to do.
