Those seats have gotta be replaced. I usually don't mind whatever seats are envisioned, but it's a bit of a detraction. Otherwise everything else is pretty nice.
Excellent and great team work. Don't understand why you bought the donar car as you hardley use any parts from that junk. May be you bought the registration documents or number plate
They at first showed an original restorable '56 convertible. I thought that they were going to restore the original car, but they made a new body using only the hood of the original car. They even did not make a convertible out of the repro steel body, they made a roadster. Even so, it was a fine job.
The inserts on the front seats have a sculped look to them, however, the rear seat inserts are as flat as a pancake... the upolstery guys really dropped the ball, and as long as I am crituqing, the steering wheel center should be silver, theres nothing else in the interior that uses red accents, it srands out like a sore thumb
... pause at 2:17....... Really....??? Are you serious? Was it too difficult to match the metal strip and the leather? It's not that hard to do. Now it's there forever, unless somebody will take the time to correct it. It looks awful. A real eye sore, on an otherwise really nice car.....

What they didn't tell you they fixed the original sold it 50grand afterwards.!!?
Yeah .. it's a real nice car .. But it is Brand New .. I have to wonder on how much that car cost them ? It has to be over $100 grand anyways

Kit car? Hardly. This was saving a car that would have otherwise be scrapped using a new RDS body.

I did upholstery for a couple years and would never let that go.
ruined a original convertible, and ended up with a car with no top, not me.
I was expecting to see a rebuilt 1956 Chevrolet Bel Aire convertible, not a Frankenstein car. Horrible.
