2:20 I've had this happen when you over hit the pedal and then you hit reset. The glaring absence of guitar was obvious. The guitarist, literally had to shrug it off and continue. I might add he did a good job with one of the best solos ever written for metal.
He's saying they were playing 1/2 step up a key note.. As in sharp. But no... Not sure why that person said that.. Edit: yep, my guitar is right next to me tuned wirh a tuner @ standard E tuning. Played the riffs along with the song and he's in E as well. The song is in D minor which is actually a "half step" up (one fret) from D and tempo is 120 BPM. I've NO idea where he's getting half step up tho. Dminor is the key the song was written and recorded in, and the key Randy and Ozzy performed it live... Maybe I'll ask him what he meant?
Wow mind boggling how the guitarist there sounds so close to the way randy rhoads sounds! He nails it! Love it! Tribute to one of the greats for sure!!! I do wonder if that's Randy's guitar or a remake or something?
Even the tone. Which we all know is in the fingers. The way a string is picked. So many things affect to make a tone what it is. I bet in a blind taste test anyone would think this was randy.
Гитара Ренди находится на своём месте тамже где и все его гитары , в музее Рэнди в школе МЮЗОНИЯ Бирбанка USA . Это точная реплика Polka Dot V . Ренди всегда в наших сердцах и нашей памяти . 🤘🤘
Into is correct and likely pulled directly from the album. Unfortunately, the band plays in standard tuning while Randy played in Eb tuning. Therefore, when the band comes in it is a half step higher than the introduction [and the recording].
@ toddincharlotte Actually you have it the wrong way round, the keyboard intro here is a semitone below concert pitch (Db minor as opposed to D minor). The band are in the correct tuning for the studio recording (which is concert pitch) it was only on Diary that Randy started using Eb tuning.
rudy lost his wig gained weight and got shorter, but he still shreds a bass huh. This guitar guy gets my respect for having the balls to attempt this song and post it on here. I just hope he doesnt think it is correct or even close enough, to play this song right, or close enough, he needs more work, but he is trying and THAT is really what counts, cheers, rock on RTO
What the hell was with the pitch change from the intro keyboard part to the rest of the band when they came in? It sounded like it jumped up a step? Totally screwed the beginning.
RodneyLee seems like they sampled the keyboards from the album and decided to play this version tuned up. Not sure why they didn’t just change the pitch of the sample to be consistent with their tuning or actually play it at the correct tuning.
You can see how much ozzy loved randy ...and he knew he was a one off ..unbelievable 😊
Randy himself would be impressed!
Man, I wish I could see this band! It would be like time-traveling back to the 80's!
Randy chambers is the remaining part of Randy on this planet...Randy's not gone he's here playing thru Randy chambers
Never heard anyone come that close to the master. Chambers hits the feel and tone.
Awesome skill. What a pleasure to watch and hear. Thank you.
R.I.P. Randy Rhoads Great Forever....
That was kick ass Randy C that's a trip same name
Man it was pretty spot on besides the half step up. I enjoyed it!
I thought it was tuned up just a bit.
Bass player looks likes mr Crowley
Looool!! X''D
RLFLMAOLOLOLOLOOOO
😜😂😜😂😜😂😜😂
Underrated comment.
🤣🤣🤣
Very best cover I've ever seen.

Randy Rhoads pedalboard gave intermittent trouble after it was dropped, let's just say this guy is doing the full re-enactment
These guys sound great.
Congrats, great performance!!!
fantastic cover
I dont know anything about 1/2 step out because i just play drums, not my field, but that guitarist is exceptionally good.

@@lilmike2710 It was polemically sent :)
@@TySutherland That is the most witty and clever comment anyone could have possibly made.
@@lilmike2710 Bahaha! Just for you buddy!
@@TySutherland I know what you meant
Loved it!

It’s a clone. The real guitars are locked away by the family

very nice thank you
Wow!! Great Guitar player!!
tenho acompanhado esse caras atravez de vides, eles são muitos bons, destaque para o guitarrista é identido e toca como Randy Rhoads

right...why not just play it in e flat tuning ??

@@pleasepermitmetospeakohgre1504 Wow, a lot of people are saying different here. But I believe that you're right.
So, not impossible to play, but to create!
Half step up tuning aside, love it! I would love to see these guys play. Unfortunately I live down in Oz.
Great bass sound
The bass player looks like Anton Lavey! he's playing for Ozzy!🤔🙄🤭
Yea let’s hear him write like Rhoads good luck with that!!!!
the intro was not in the correct tone , am I right???
yep
Yeah!!
Yea feels 1/2 step up.
Good call Todd, I caught that too.
Guitar player is real good.
Will you be doing a tribute concert this coming year 2020?!?

He was pretty fucking close, idiot.
Andy unic guitar

The sampled keyboard was the part that was below pitch, the band were in concert pitch, just as it's played on the album.
Let me on them drums
Haha.... I was just thinking they need real drums
True that drummer was lazy
Fifty cents
Should I translate Jeff?
Sup with the drummer?
The wrong intro was used. Our band (RTO) hates this video.. We had to use the clubs amps so this is nowhere near Rhoads tone.
The drummer's no Tommy Aldridge.
Funny it's not Aldridge on tge record. It's Lee Kerslake from Uriah Heep
0:00 Did i just hear a cat meow?
hahah
Mickey Mouse
Too much snare!
I heard that too. But audio when your sitting in the room is different than what gets captured on youtube
weird
the fact that the singer is trying to be ozzy is extremely annoying
That's the whole point, it's a fucking tribute band!
Wrong. It's awesome!
Drummer needs better snare tone. That was terrible
