Man was I waiting for this one. Tobias Harris. My God! In the closeout game this year he played some 30 odd minutes took two shots had zero points. In the closeout game last year against Boston played 42 minutes zero points! That means he scored as many points as you, me and everybody else reading this only different is he picked up a game check north of 200K both times. He's straight garbage!
The silver lining in Poole and Ayton is that they're still young, still outside of their prime, so they can still turn their careers around, and you can actually see Poole start to turn things around during the second half of the season. Both of them just needs to get their drive and confidence back so they can live up to their contracts.

Players like Tobias Harris, Russell Westbrook and Klay are honestly better off signing with teams like that are either awful, or just not good enough to realistically content, but still make the playoffs. It’s their best option because if they stay on teams like the Lakers, Clippers, Warriors and 76ers, they’ll always get blamed, even when it’s not completely their fault. Like Westbrook this year. Yeah, he played bad but at least he was out there, healthy and actually playing, unlike Kawhi “Load Management” Leonard.
If they wanna get paid and don’t care about winning, here are their options: Detroit, Washington, Charlotte, Portland.
If they want to be part of a promising rebuild and fight for a playoff/play-in spot, here are their options: Huston, San Antonio, Brooklyn, Memphis, Toronto, Chicago.

Ingram shouldn't be on this list imo. Just two seasons ago he was putting up 27,6,6 in the playoffs on good efficiency against the phoenix suns who were a good defensive team at the time with perimeter defenders like Bridges and Crowder. Went into these playoffs banged up. Yes, has been unable to stay healthy which is a different conversation but made the all star game before and showed the potential to ball out come playoff time.

Dumb GM’s have been over paying players since Jon Koncak got paid an unprecedented 6yrs 13 million… (it was a big deal in 89’ especially since he was a reserve player)

These GM’s have always paid players based on “potential” under the assumption that at their young age, they will only get better.
Poor player evaluation.
Poor trades.

many of these players I would never sign to the max…
Many of these guys once they get paid, they stop improving.
When players like Grant become free agents, I just don’t see the need to pay them max money…
