sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the account password. I would love any tips you can offer me
@Bishop Zion Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Fermi level shifts according to the type of material. It shifts up in the case of n-type semiconductor and it shifts down in the case of p-type semiconductor,so you can't say so .
Sir are you sure that in an intrinsic semiconductor fermi level lies exactly in middle of the bandgap? From textbooks I saw that it depends on hole and electron's effective mass.
Sir according to Pauli exclusive principle no more than two electrons can occupy same energy state. Then how can there be that many number of states per unit energy. Could u some clear my doubt sir
The number of electrons move from the valence to the condcution band as we excite it, and excitation is posibble if we heat the material by increasing its temparature. Corect me if I am wrong.
If holes are also electrons, then same electron in VB goes in CB then why is it said that effective mass(e.m)of electron in conduction band is different from e.m of hole in V. B???? Can any clear my doubt
Best concise way to make command over edc, Nicely explained without tedious mathematics...

@Cassius Juan instablaster =)

@Bishop Zion It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much you really help me out :D
@Cassius Juan No problem :)
Best course for Semiconductor Devices
Sir you are an amazing talent.
Sir, you are great. ❤
Great explaination sir .. :)
Great explanation sir
Links for the notes?
Sir please see the equation of no. Of electrons. There should be( Ec-Ef)
Awesome Sir ❤️❤️
Mindblowing
Sir pdf is not given anywhere. Not in nptel site also
so so so so so grateful to you sir, so much grateful. love you❤❤❤
hey have you made the class notes ?
Thank you so much,Sir.
Awesome
If fermi level(50% probablity of finding electrons) is near valence band means then the valence band should have more electrons ,right?

We are talking about Free e-.
You have remember the f(e) vs g(s) graph .If the fe is near vb there will be more overlap to vb in fermi level when we extend the
From where I can get notes

You are right
I think you're right it was taught for us in our institute as well.

There is concept of degenrated orbitals
How we know about how much electrons can move to conduction band from valence band .
Reply me as soon as possible if I am right
Ans is It's depend on temp. Or energy

where the notes of this are available

Can any clear my doubt
static mass and effective mass both are different. see lecture 3 & 4
because electrons effective mass is affected by the electric field but not in case of holes
bcs effective mass of electron is due to potential well of atomic lattice which have different effect on that of hole's mass
how can i contact you ??
Very well explaanation😍😍
Ya..bro..😁
Shoddy!
Hole=Proton
Is it correct sir
nope
@@xxxxxx-xn3nw What you're talking of are called "phonons" and holes are quasi particles, they're positively charged but they are not protons.
@@uditbhattacharya4476 Thank you for correcting me
subtitles are disturbing
You can turn it off manually. I suggest you do so then it'll be much easier.
Cheers!!
Please if someone have notes say yes
You can find in nptel portal (transcripts)
