Mr. Satan looks great! They captured his likeness perfectly! The sculpt and paint job also look amazing! I did some research to figure out what part of the manga is based on and it is indeed from the Buu Saga. If you look up in google images Dragon Ball Z “Fate of the Finals” you will see an image of Mr. Satan in this exact pose with Android 18 and Mighty Mask behind him. He doesn’t have the toothy smile but he has his trademark smirk on his face. I hope now that we have gotten Mr. Satan that we will get a Masterlise figure of Videl.
I just took a look in the manga and the closest you’re referencing could be when he’s giving him a thumbs down before starting his “fight” with him. But not quite. Pretty sure some artistic liberties were taken here regardless. I’m almost certain his inspiration is from the Cell Games simply because the entire Kuji is focused on that portion of DBZ

I didn't realize that there different sets? for masterlise. I'm not sure if I'm wording that correctly, sorry. I found this Hercule at Barnes and Noble and also just as excited! However, I was watching this video and found mine is not as brightly colored. I noticed your box has E on it. Mine does not.
Yes Masterlise figures release within different Ichiban Kuji sets :) Your figure didn't have a letter on it because it was the Ichibansho release instead of the Kuji (lottery) release in Japan. The figures should be exactly the same other than that difference though. The colors in my video might be brighter because of the studio lights I use when recording.
First off, judging the figure by if you like the character or not has nothing to do with the figure quality in itself...I am not a fan of z Broly but I consider most of his figures to be solid 10/10 or 9/10. Second, jar jar Binks is not even close to the character that Mr Satan is! Mr Satan may start as a joke but ends up having immense character development in the Buu arc and even becomes the main reason that Goku managed to defeat kid Buu... The lie/joke that he defeated cell and saved the universe ends up becoming somewhat true with buu instead and that was always, In me view, excelent character writing!
@@immortalorigins9446 exactly. Dragon Ball is more than transformations and punching each other. Think about how important of a character Bulma is and she’s not a fighter at all (but can definitely beat the brakes off of some of the boys lol)
