Thanks, it is nice listening to a calming voice discuss the game rather than the flashy and annoying screeching of most YT streamers. Lean into that mellifluous angle and try to pry into the mystic algorithm - good luck.
Hi Savallion! This is a great video. Want to ask how you updated your server settings mid fight. I cannot seem to revise any settings after the server has already been set up. Do you rent your own server, which then grants you more customization? Thanks in advance. Subscribed!
This is not running on a dedicated server, this is on my machine, a solo / co-op world. You CAN update the server settings after the world has been created using the config file (I believe some settings you can also edit within the game options, but not the difficulty multipliers). I just edited the config and restarted the game. If you're using a service that rents out V Rising servers it *should* give you access to that config file somewhere, but you'll have to figure that out yourself. This part is important: I'll explain this in the video where I actually change the boss settings, but any units who have already been spawned in-game (including bosses) will *not* update on their own after a restart. You have to respawn them. So for those ones, I used an admin command to destroy them (not drinking V Blood, just letting them despawn) and waited for a respawn before attempting the fight.
