    Great video! I like the phenolic sound better for mid reproduction. I have a video titled "Horn Speaker Comparison JBL 2360, Altec 511b 811b, EV Electro Voice SM120a HP640, Yamaha S4115H" where you can hear the differences between different horns with a phenolic diaphragm.

    Ty, so if I was using some say 6.5" prv bullet mids and 4" ti700 tweeter wouldn't need one of these or would my sound gain a lot from adding a ti horn? Sorry if that's not asked right. I know a lot about the bass side of audio not a lot about mids/highs and crossovers. But I'm planning a large build and need to get my mids and highs up to sound right. Thanks you and subscribed

      Sorry for the late reply, you can always benefit from a compression driver for a more full sound. With a phenolic driver (1" would be sufficient such as the d270ph) you can run the low pass lower on the speaker so the vocals are stronger and then the driver will fill the gap between the speaker and the tweeters!

    I have 4 10mb800ft per rear door
    2 2200ph per
    2 tw500my per
    2 st200 per
    What frequency would cross them at for my application

    • @12voltfever
      @12voltfever  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In your case for the D2200PH with supporting tweeters, depending on power of course, you can run them 600bt18-5000bt18 (them TW500 play pretty low for a tweeter). Run them 10s low on the LPF (between 1650-2200 on the low pass) let the driver do the upper vocals and the midbass will shine on the lows and low vocals!
