What Shaun is saying in this video, "dont bother re gearing" "no need to worry about stopping it still stops on a dime" "Dont worry about ride quality its good" it all really really helps me out alot. I really do trust you guys. Im planning on putting a BDS 6in lift with 35s on a '17 F150 Hearing all of this from a professional really helps and makes me feel better. I will definitely be repping a Custom Offsets sticker on my truck!
I bought a 2015 with 6 inch lift. 35 12.5 20s. It rubs the crash bar a little on driver side. Passenger side dont rub. Is that normal? Shouldn't sides both rub?
ii had a 6 lift on my f150 35s and i can get in a 7 footer if your driveway is lower than your floor or on an angle its no prob i got in with 37s also just had to let a few pounds out the tires
I still don’t see the part where it is making contact with the 7ft door. Some guys I talked to said they can fit inside their garage with a 7ft door. Same setup.
Love the new video format, suggest putting a level on your garage door tool it looked like the truck would clear 7' when you held the tool more level. Great video keep it up.
My 17 with 20x10s & 35x12.50s -19 offset fits in the garage by about 3\4" .. And I make it through the width requirement at Crew carwash by 1\2" .. Works out perfect, just barely..
You guys should do a vid about various wheel/tire sizes and offsets for clearance on different ride heights. Love these spotlights though! And love the limited edition! keep up the good work.
Oh I have! Many times hahah! That's how my lunch breaks are spent. But I've noticed that there can be two identical setups on there, and one will say trimming, and one will say no rub and no trimming.
Hmmmm .... Have a 2017 F-150 5.0 24x14s on 35s ..... got 13.5 -14.5mpg on highway stock gears , NOW got 4.11 Yukon gears , and get back to Factory mpg maybe a hair less , I get 16-18mpg on highway at 70mph.... HIGHLY RECOMMEND switching gears if you have a F-150 , 2015+ is 3.31 or 3.55 gears , so changing to 4.11 gears is a world of a difference
Great vid, very informative! I'm looking at either a new F150 or Titan and I will want to lift it like every truck I've ever had. I liked the garage height info. Even though I don't park daily in the garage, I do park inside for maintenance since my driveway is sloped. Curious how much it was rubbing by for a 7' garage and if going with 20" wheels rather than 22's would have helped? Again.....great vid!
Another great vid from the leaders in fitment, keep doing these! Smart thinking on adding the "scientific" measuring pole lol. And turning the wheel to see clearance was defiantly a good addition to really see how tight things are. Adding the ride along is good but I agree with Shawn and he should drive the truck before and after, just for that added info>
Is there a big height difference between a BDS 4” lift compared to 6”? Maybe a comparison of a 4” inch lift parked next to a 6” to show the differences
I had an 2018 with 6” lift and 35x 12.50 MT’s. Couldn’t keep wheel bearing on the front end. Got rid of the truck for that reason. Loved everything else bout the truck but the wheel bearings were trash.
How about same lift and wheel setup with 33s tire on it.... would you still need to do much cutting? I have a 2017 f150 that I’m looking to do the 6” bds lift with the Fox
Bryant Roscoe I have a 96 f150 with a 6 inch lift and 20x12 with 35s I even tow a 32 foot trailer with it. It stops it just fine just leave extra room for it to stop which I should do with big tires or not
Yep I figured out I can’t clear a 7 foot door didn’t hurt anything but but my roof hit the weather stripping so yea don’t try that at home it’s ok tho it’s a 96 and going for a new pant job soon so I wasn’t to mad other then I couldn’t fit in the garage till I raised it a foot
I got a 2016 ford f150 xlt crew cab sport truck looks just like that without the wheels and tires I dont know alot about them but I want a loft and new wheels and tire where do I start and what size fits what?? Need some help
Keep in mind ford ONLY added the crash bars to these crew cab trucks, and other models didn't have them. I don't think it turns it into a "death trap" by any means. - Fuller

Hell yeah you even show us if our newly lifted truck is going to fit in our garage.
I have a 16 F150 6 inch lift. 20x10 -24 offset on 35/12.50r20. Just had to cut a little of the inner plastic trim. Still have both crash bars on mine.
Joshua Miles Running 33x12.50-20 on a +12 with a 1.5" leveling kit and still have my crash bars no rubbing what so ever.
I bought a 2015 with 6 inch lift. 35 12.5 20s. It rubs the crash bar a little on driver side. Passenger side dont rub. Is that normal? Shouldn't sides both rub?
Past videos are always good! But this format, way more informative and helpful for us especially downtown truckers, weekend off roader types.
Might want to mention the arm that drops down off the garage door opener. That adds 4 in or so in the mix with the garage door.
If you hold the pole straight, you'll see that it will clear. There will be approximately 1/2 inch left to clear, 35x12.5 on a 6 inch lift.
ii had a 6 lift on my f150 35s and i can get in a 7 footer if your driveway is lower than your floor or on an angle its no prob i got in with 37s also just had to let a few pounds out the tires

I’m running a 2.5 inch in the front and 1 inch in the back and 35 12.5 on my 04 f-150 and barely no rubbing idk why it wouldn’t fit without rubbing
Nice to see a real-world run down on what is done to get the look. I have yet to have a lifted ride that dose not handle as good or better than stock.
Love the new video format, suggest putting a level on your garage door tool it looked like the truck would clear 7' when you held the tool more level. Great video keep it up.
CK ROM yea it looked to me like it would fit as well.

Love the ride along at the end. Awesome job! Keep it up!!

It's a 2 inch diff..
Honestly, don't look much but it is.
Stand a 5'10 guy next to a 6 foot dude.. pretty much give you an idea 💡 😉

That truck is badass!!
What good is a lift when you have to cut your front fender wells all up??
good shit. looking to lift my 2017 f150. Very informative
10:58 thank you I was just about to ask, because it seems like a headache to regear the truck!
The editing of this video is SICK......oh and the truck is nice too..lol
You are extremely informative. Well done
I'm running 34's 11.5 wide no rubbing or cutting
What about a 22x12 -19 offset on 35? Would you still have to do a norcal
am i the only one who comes here just to hear Shawn's "lezzz go"?
Would you need to upgrade the brakes on an older truck, let's say an 01 F150 Super Crew when you put 35s on?
Definitely doesn't hurt o Bryant

Good work. I like the video format and the ride along.
did you have to recaliabrate the speedodmoter for those big tire and lift kit
Yes we did
@@CustomOffsetsTV is there a way to do this without a programmer?
Does cutting your crash bars affect your Ford warranty?
Best bet is to check with the dealership you go through service with!
Do 22×12 with -44 offset rub with a 6in lift I have a 2018 f150 ?
And u are in Wisconsin? Ohhhhhh. I can’t wait to get my gmc denali I’m coming to ur shop

I wanna see a spotlight on a newer Dodge Ram like 2014 up 1500 6” lift
Could I run these same wheels and tires on just a leveled F150? Even if I do a lot of trimming?

Gangster!
Can anyone tell me if this setup will fit through a 7ft garage door ?
Sean Leon I have a 96 f150 with 20x12 wrapped in 35s it was super close if it was I’d say yea tho
Did it fit ,
Do those rims come with the hub centric rig
certain wheels do and certain ones do not Dippin, please send us a quote form and we'll help you out! customoffsets.com/quote
First. That intro was funny tho 😂. Garage tool is also cool.
Nicely done, look funny in a Ford.
How come he’s not using hundos???
How do the ridge graps compare to duratracs?
I've had both and I liked them both. Nittos look better IMO plus you have two different sidewalls to choose from.
5:14 Relatable
How large is that screen?!?!?! This video makes it look like it's 10" long!
Its the lense on the camera!
I love the look but basically the truck is a rolling Death Trap front and rear crash bars removed ,
Keep in mind ford ONLY added the crash bars to these crew cab trucks, and other models didn't have them. I don't think it turns it into a "death trap" by any means. - Fuller
Is English your first language because i detect a exent
I want one
for everybody complains on box wheel well they all have too trimmed
Look like mine without the lift
35x12.5 Ridge grapplers vs toyo Rts
