@@LushGardener I'm pretty sure but I will have to double-check. It's the busy time getting protection up for strawberries. Those stinking Birds aren't getting my snacks this year
oh ok ….use some reflective material..like mirrors or old cds 💿…or hang a fake bird replica…I used to have a pigeon problem after Hanging some small mirrors and a wind chime …they stopped visiting 😊🪴
I saw one Echeveria "Black Prince" today at nursery. It was so beautiful, looking like it was made of chocolate. But I remembered your advice and I didn't buy it. Also all my succulents are indoors, so I'm afraid if I would buy it, two weeks later it would be more like "Green Prince". :D
Hi Lush Gardener, You know that happens with hybrid Orchids albeit rare, something goes wrong with their genetics and they put out a terminal spike or death bloom. Luckily, like the Black Prince you showed us, it puts out a pup or kieki cause it knows it's going to die. Thanks for showing us, very interesting.
Thats is so cool very nicely u explained. For me too that happened. Well i think so, but for a change I had 2 blooms and I had a small 1 baby bloom. As of now the mother is gone and baby bloom is going on.
yes its a pest magnet ..can rot easily with slight extended moisture ..need good morning sun for 5-6 hours less light it will turn greenish ..but the major issue is root mealy and crown mealy
I just read the comments below and remembered what you specified in one of your videos,to pay close attention to hybrids. The only mistake I made is that I mistook this beauty for a normal Echeveria. Thank you L.G for your valuable time, to reply to us.🙏
Sir LG may I ask a different question not related to succulents if in case you have an answer. You see I ordered online Ficus Rubber Plant last Dec 11 and it just delivered now only. The rubber plant is siaking wet inside the box and leaves were rotten. I salvaged what needs to salvage like the stem with super wet soil. Im my panic I repot awhile ago upon arrival from work. I repot to the fast draining soil the 2 stems. Do you think I made the right thing repotting the stem with wet soil to dry fast draining soil mix? Without air drying?Just asking thanks
hi sir you can check this entire playlist it’s also includes echeveria black prince and others echeveria also I have mentioned on the thumbnails which is level easy succulent and level difficult so Incase you planning to buy any new once you can go according to this 😊 please let me know if it was helpful th-cam.com/play/PLPUGXyrgYAEbsXuwTnz9V8PvNTyQPihDR.html
The lifespan of an Echeveria succulent can range anywhere from 3 years to several decades but it all depends on the variety, care, and growing conditions. As black prince belongs to Echeveria genus same condition but if there is a death bloom on Echeveria black prince 6 months maximum lifespan from the time of death bloom starts
oh wow that is new...its so strange coiple of years back they were strictly polycarpic but i think due to creating new hybrids climate change etc could trigger it
My wifes first black prince is blooming. And it is a death bloom. So glad we found your video, thanks for the information buddy. Very informative.
thank you for watching …is the bloom right in the centre ?

oh ho …yes plus it’s. a very fragile succulent gets overwatered easily 😞and then the pest issue also
I have heard about monocarpic echeveria. Maybe someone said it on a video.
It happens the same with orchids too.
most beautiful plant. but I can't keep it alive
