Pure ignorance. That is how culture dies. This mentality is how culture dies, this mentality is what has ALWAYS hurt conjunto music and it will continue to. This music is about cultura and casting culture aside is how conjunto stayed at the bottom. And i love this music but this bullshit attitude has only helped to dilute it and hinder it's spread. Most of the ignorant don't know conjunto was always looked down upon because whites called it Mexican music since it's all in Spanish. Ignorance is plentiful in the conjunto community and it comes from ignorance like the comment I'm responding to.
