For real, that's just the type of game Elden Ring is. I'm kind of grateful for that, because I love Souls-Like games, but I can never finish one because I find myself more often than not getting stuck. I'm just not good at these types of games, I get impatient. But with Elden Ring there's so much to do, explore, that even if you're at a boss and you find yourself hating it, you can just go somewhere else and come back to it later when you're feeling it. Actually, Bloodborne might be slightly easier. If I had to rank them: 1. Sekiro: Depends on the player, Sekiro was my first FromSoft game but I didn’t struggle with it as much as I did with other From games. A lot of people find hit hard though 2. Elden Ring(Hardest for me personally) 3. Bloodborne: I’ll have to play it more, but below Elden for me by a slight-ish margin 4. Dark Souls: Overall the easiest, but some bosses - like Nameless King - are much harder than any Sekiro boss
Rewatching the series and hearing him say “to the East a flower is budding and it’s scarlet rot; she moaned over it so it’s gotta be crazy” made me die laughing and gave me second hand PTSD from watching those malenia videos

Hey Afro, quick tip, there is a small statue next to the margrit boss fog that allows summoning, AKA there is an NPC summon you can use for that boss, just in case you want to use that for the future.

In this game there's a new combat mechanic thats really cool like the jump attack that stuns enemy when you jump and press r2 and the counter mechanic when you block an attack press r2 to counter both does massive damage 👌
@@busetgadapet I believe so, but unless you get a shield that blocks 100% damage, you take a hit. There are a couple 100% phys damage shields in Limgrave, though.

There’s way too many good things hidden, I looked up a map to see where the dungeons and items all were and cleared those before moving to the main areas it’s been a breeze so far but it’s a lot of fun, it was more exciting finding them on my own but took way too long and I was still missing things

can you parry boss atk with your beginner shield?

Also if you time the unsheathe heavy you can stun enemies in the middle of the attack id helped me get the blood fang
