Rob is the whole reason I started watching this channel back when they used to cut to someone rolling their eyes and putting a check on a board every time he talked about MGS in an entry. I think I recall the episode where it was FIRST introduced and couldn't stop laughing. As a fellow, unashamed MGS fanboy, I would eagerly watch waiting to see if we got another check on the board with every new episode. Though the board may have gone, Rob has definitely kept me on with his self-deprecating charm and cleverness. The addition of Ash (who I had been a fan of on another channel!) definitely makes this one of my favorite channels that never fails to make me laugh and leaves me with a smile every time. That said, it is entirely possible there isn't nearly as much Delsin in the videos as there could be.
Considering how effortlessly cool Ash comes across, her being genuinely mortified reliving a moment of utter "dorky little kid" obsessiveness was all the more endearing. And very, very funny. I suspect there might be a Guitar Hero challenge in the Christmas streams as revenge for Halloween now though!
Witcher 3, Geralt, Yen, that damned Unicorn, and playing in the living room early in the morning on Thanksgiving day before anyone was supposed to be awake. I've never turned the TV off so quickly in my life when I heard my mom's voice asking if I could get the rolls started and "what on *earth* are you watching??"

Love the embarrassing stories from you guys. My embarrassing moment is that I got stuck on the training mission on the first Splinter Cell on the ps2 I think. I got stuck at the part where you had to click down left stick but I think it was L3 so he could shimmy across a thin gap. I didn’t realise that you could click down left or right stick at the time until 2 or 3 months after getting that game. Keep up with brilliant work guys.

My almost embarrassing moment happened during Assassin's Creed 2. Decided to play it on the family PC. Started a new game, and during the initial sequence where you beat the goons, my mother and sister entered the room. It'd be fine, I thought. AC1 was just viewpoints and assassinations. So I continued playing, beat my brother, saw the most amazing intro. And then Ezio decided to be Ezio and went to visit Cristina. I've never pressed Alt+F4 so fast. I want to believe they didn't see it, but I have this feeling that my sister knew.
Ezio just doesn't disappoint in that moment with Cristina 😅 also reading your comment about the AC2 intro so good one of my favorite opening hour in any video game😊
I once went to my brothers university back around 2007-8 for a video game event, and I had planned to enter their Guitar Hero contest. During the event I got on the game and practiced Cliffs of Dover a dozen times on expert so that I could sweep the floor with everyone (or so I thought), however when it got to the actual competition, we played Cliffs of Dover on medium, and I kept on strumming for notes that I had come to anticipate on expert, only to ruin my combo because half of the notes weren't there on medium. I lost because of that. Still feels me with shame.
We need a live stream of Ash attempting to redeem herself on Guitar Hero and get a perfect run with Free Bird on Hard Mode and then in the background during the stream you see her parent’s long lost friends slowly emerging 😅
I knew it! I said as much in the comments of the Yakuza video, Rosie is too pure for this world. Also, I was playing the first UFC game that came out on either PS3 or PS4, i'd done pretty well, decided to show my older brother how good I was, I lost in less than 1 minute.
My most embarrassing moment was when I was playing Rainbow Six Siege. I picked Montaigne, had my shield up and walked into a room full of enemies. I tried to ping where they were but I pushed the wrong button and went into the camera instead.

I did watch the live ctr challenge on vod when it first aired, and you know what? I was NOT disappointed at Rob. I loved it and I found it very tense and exciting, I mean it made the whole thing realistic and fun. And at least in my heart Rob is still the best at CTR
Kudos to all of you for sharing genuinely embarrassing moments! I thought it would just be recounting stuff like being inexplicably bad at parts in games that should be easy, like for me, the naked Raiden part of MGS2 (I would *always* get spotted by the guards), or needing two shots to kill the alligator in RE2 (one to miss, one to hit the fire extinguisher).

Most embarrassing had to be in Freedom Wars playing multiplayer. We were in the lobby and it was my job to initiate the mission but neither me or my friend could figure out how to do it. So we kept saying to the other players we were waiting for someone while running around the room trying to find a prompt. I don't know how many people left the lobby before we figured it out.
Rob's yeah i remember that. I remember thinking wow he exaggerated his skills, i was always thinking i would love a chance to race him my only knowledge being gran turismo.

I can relate to Rob as I perform live and crowd reaction is what determines my energy. One embarrassing moment which happened recently I was invited to perform a feature track with my mentor at his Versus event here in Detroit and had lets say one to many in an attempt to ease my nervousness and ended up forgetting every single word to the song when i got on stage to perform. Needless to say the packed night club was not impressed but I learned a valuable lesson... Don't drink before the show.
I wish I was at that event to play CTR. I got Nitro Fueled on release as went right into online play to get absolutely decimated. I felt 20 years of experience turn to shame. Now my children try to beat me at it
Can kinda feel for Rob's entry, when you big yourself up only to have an absolute mare is the worst feeling - sure we're only human and all that, but that camera angle for that cruical final moment after that Warp Orb hit him, if he could see there he wouldn't have reversed off. I once played Uncharted 3 with an adapter so I could use Xbox 360 controller. I got to the bit near the start when you're young Drake sliding down a roof and have to jump a gap by pressing X but with no success. Obviously X is different on a 360 controller and I was so engrossed I forgot I was even using it. I rage quit thinking the game was broke XD

He calls you by your full name unlike anyone else he is aware of in this whole world. You are never rob you are "ROB PEARSON" full name. It's a fun random bonding thing that we have so thanks Rob ❤:)

I once played Uncharted 3 with an adapter so I could use Xbox 360 controller. I got to the bit near the start when you're young Drake sliding down a roof and have to jump a gap by pressing X but with no success. Obviously X is different on a 360 controller and I was so engrossed I forgot I was even using it. I rage quit thinking the game was broke XD
