I would love to see more of New Zealand! I would love to see more cuisines, traditions, farm, towns, shops, celebrations, just get a feel for the people and life style of New Zealand ❤❤❤
Hi Alex, I would love to see a travel series for families with small children. It is tricky sometimes find destinations and accommodation that caters to babies specially. I would love to see a series of these in Japan, New Zealand, USA, Europe and South East Asia. But anywhere baby friendly with lots of helpful advice for young families would be something I would watch and that there is no so much out there in TH-cam.
Good to have you back here in Aotearoa, so pleased you had an Awesome trip,I think you would definitely enjoy caravanning around NZ,seeing new sites that you haven't seen yet, from a Kiwi in Welly
A lot of people do travel videos and have covered so much of the globe, but few do it the way you and your brother did, combining nature, culture, food, history and fun off the wall stuff, so I look forward to any travel videos you do but am especially looking forward to seem much more of NZ, and any ASMR would be a huge bonus!
Since I am from NZ and lived in NZ for now almost half my life, I have seen pretty much all of NZ. So here is a list of places I visited in the first 30+ years of my life. I freedom walked the Milford track twice. I spent one entire summer in Queenstown And another entire summer on the West coast. We drove from Chch up to Blenheim and Nelson, stayed in Nelson a few days - which included a drive out to Collingwood and Farewell Spit. From there we drove down to the west coast and stayed in Westport. While we were in Westport, we drove everywhere up and down the coast, from Franz Josef Glacier to Karamea and places in between including Pancake rocks and Shanty town. It rained a lot that summer!! LOL I know I have been to New Plymouth and Mt Egmont (now Mt Taranaki) - I just dont remember them. I was probably not even 5 years old but we do have photos. I spent so many of school winter (August) holidays at the Chateau Tongariro (and Mt Ruapehu) doing the skiing thing. I spent another summer in the Bay of Islands. Even went to Hawkes Bay one summer and did the Truck & trailer drive to Cape Kidnappers to see the Gannett Bird colony!! I dont think the truck and trailer are running any more. And another summer exploring the Mackenzie country and Mt Cook. For islands, I never got to Stewart Island, although I have been to Waiheke Island, (Great wines there) and Great Barrier Island!! And since I grew up in the Waikato, we regularly spent weekends on the Coromandel peninsula, Tauranga, Rotorua, Hamilton, Waikato River and Lake Taupo. The only other major places that I dont think I ever got to in NZ were 90 Mile Beach and Cape Reinga.
Yeah a friend of mine had a giant Norfolk Island Pine in his front yard growing up so I've always had the island on my radar. Would love to get out there!
Adore the homestead project videos. Excited there are some more to come. For travel, very much would love to see more of NZ & the culture there. Also Vietnam is a country on your side of the world that has always interested me. If you wanted to go there I’d love a video!
Ah Alex, please do ASMR videos! I'm always looking for those. Love having it on playing in the background, you could just keep those coming 🙏😁 Excited for your content that's to come!
Could you go to Bulgaria, my boyfriend is from there and both his parents are from Sofia, Bulgaria. I would love for you to do a travel guide on that city and surrounding cities so when I ever go with him I can feel more secure on what places we should visit. He has never gone back home, he grew up here so he is first generation and we have a lot in common because I am also first generation from my home country. I just want to see bulgaria through your travel blog and see how amazing the country truly is!!!
Man I am really looking foreward to this New Zealand Roadtrip! Me and my family have been in New Zealand in March and April this year and it has been amazing!
Hi Alex, my family and I just moved to New Zealand and are looking forward to exploring this beautiful country. I would love to see more of your New Zealand content. I would also be interested in any suggestions or advice around traveling the country with young children.
My one destination pick for you would be Australia (focusing on nature, culture and especially good!). Also welcome back and I'll have to catch up on that central California vlog!
I came across your videos when I watched a Vagabrothers travel vlog of Ireland maaany years ago (and hit up Strandhill as a result 😊). Would love to see a Take 2! 🇮🇪
I would really just love to see more of NZ! the van trip sounds like an amazing opportunity to create content :) Also soooo excited to see more homestead vlogs again - that's my favorite content. And the longer ASMR videos would be a dream!! It would be wonderful to put on the TV in the background when being at home :) much love to you and your beautiful family.
I would love you to cover the mid-north to east area of Germany. I feel like a lot of people only travel to Munich or Berlin and don't really visit the other stunning areas in Germany. Very specifically the areas around Hannover and Dresden. Those places are very dear to me. The Roadtrip from Hannover to Dresden covers some very nice areas and cities, depending on which rout you take so this would be hands down A-MA-ZING!
I would recommend Namibia - the most wonderful country I have been to (after New Zealand of course 😊). We were three petite girlies in a toyota! 4300 km and a lifetime of memories. Spectacular scenery & wildlife - fabulous hotels & lodges & food & wonderful people. I would go back in a minute!! Love your homestead vlogs too! 😊
I’m going to Paris and then London via the Eurostar so selfishly I’d like you to do that trip so I get ideas esp with explanations of booking and taking the Eurostar from Paris to London.
As much as I love the prospect of seeing places around the world...there is nothing like seeing home (New Zealand)... one thing not a lot of people have done is explored the "unknown" locations in NZ.... and that would be amazing. Just one example is a lot of people go to Auckland and they explore the city, the shopping, the tourist destinations, but don't really explore areas like the Waitakere Ranges, or some of the less known places. The same with Dunedin.... they show Larnach Castle, sea lions etc... but not places like Aramoana (with its dark history) or of course so many locations around NZ that no one has really seen, it has always been the tourist spots. I also would love to see your view on Brisbane and the GC/SC.
I'm a Kiwi living in Hong Kong an your idea of an ASMR video of NZ bush and wildlife would be awesome... i miss home sometimes when HK is such a rush city.... so yes to a ASMR Video
New York as I am going to NewYork next May. Although I am not staying in New York City I will be staying in Lake George not far from Millionaire Beach.
Yay so cute to see Lanka pop up on screen! :) I'm most excited for your trips around NZ with your caravan. I moved here last year and am hitting the road myself this spring/summer, so maybe I'll see you out there! 😊
How about Antarctica? Exploring the continent, with DOC (Department of Conservation). They will give you insight as to how how much the environment has changed over the years
Great to have you guys back with more content 😊 I would be extra insterested by these tips on how to travel with a baby or a toddler 👍 and a place I would love to see more of is Africa 😊 It's such a diverse continent and I would love to see your way of planning a trip in some of the countries out there. My husband is from Algeria and it's a good example of a country that is underestimated 😉
Welcome back, Japan sounds like a nice place to visit. Right in the middle of long haul travel time from down here. And yes more diys please. Still love watching you guys wash your clothes while you were still in them. So funny. Is the water off famous last words
Iran, because it is so misjudged and misunderstood. Also Panama because it's my very favourite place anywhere. Don't just stick with the Pacific coast though. Go to the Caribbean, go to Bocas del Toro province, go out to the islands. It's glorious! While I'm on a roll, I took my daughter to Iran for the first time when she was 8 months old, we got home the day before her first birthday and she learned so much. Travel is the best experience to give our children as early as we can.
Much more about NZ nature, wildlife and local traditions. Homestead and DIY videos, and vanlife will work too. I hope no too many specific videos about travelling with children, sorry. Congratulations for your beautiful family!💗🌸💗🌸 Hugs from South Africa 🐘🐆🦓🦒🦏🐃🐗🦁

Nice to see you back home! What a wonderful post. Love the guitar ending. I thoroughly enjoy whatever your family posts. In terms of travel I already suggested the wine region of Germany and the river tours, Bavaria for beer , Munich, Cologne, the Romantic Road do not miss. And the Neuschwanstien Castle/Austria. In the meantime, I always enjoy your projects at home as well as seeing your beautiful NZ. ❤
China! Now that there is a 2 week visa-free it's much easier - in addition you can go to Hong Kong for a bit and then come back to China for 2 more weeks! Sooooooo much of the most incredible scenery and sights you have ever seen!
Would LOVE a multi day guide on Japan! There is so much to see, so can be overwhelming to plan, and also it’s a destination that intimidates me due to the language barrier, but somewhere I’d like to go within the next 5 years. Also super into the nature ASMR videos, can’t wait for that. Looking forward to your upcoming NZ road trip videos! X
I've been wanting to visit NZ for years. Now I have three kids and want to just MOVE there. But I'm Native Alaskan and no ties to NZ. Something I'm looking into :)
One of my dream places I would love to see from the tourism POV is a small out of the way place, that does not get a lot of coverage on youtube. But it is also one of the biggest travel corridors in Europe. A region in Northern Italy called AOSTA. Access is from Turin or Milan. Aosta has tons of skiing in the northern winter. It is also home to one of the oldest national parks in Italy - Gran Paradiso National Park. The corridor includes the Mt Blanc (I think) tunnel between Italy and France - comes out in Chamonix. The Aosta Region goes back to Roman times, with a 2000 year old history. I would love to know what places there are and activities to do in Aosta, especially in the summer. I would really love to see an indepth vlog of Aosta as one of those "out-of-the-way" places that has not been discovered yet. Thanks.
Well, this is niche-- I would be very interested in how to plan a ski/snowboarding trip in the Alps and Dolomites. How to use an Epic pass to ski in Europe (You're welcome, haha). In general, I think there's a gap in the travel vlog space on youtube for mid life travelers--people who did the backpacking thing when they were in their 20's but who are now in their 30's-40's and don't have an interest in either low budget or 'luxury' travel. People who have 'seen the sights' and are more interested in self directed travel experiences that challenge us to grow and learn. Personally, my partner and I like to travel with a purpose other than 'vacationing'. That could be hiking a GR route across the Alps, working on upgrading our scuba diving certification, studying a language for a month in another country or taking out Master degrees in history on the road and planning a trip around visiting archeological sites in the middle east. So if I could see anything on your channel; Slow travel, with a focus/goal and a little room left for spontaneity.
It's not a single destination, but most of the major places are pretty well covered, well everywhere is I suppose these days. I'd be interested in central & eastern Europe: what was the old Austro-Hungarian Empire - Czechia, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary etc & also east into Poland
Have you thought about being a tour guide to small groups like 6 max. charge a premium, drive them around in a van. Plenty of retired people would pay!!!!!!!!!! You're such a tremendous storyteller for history, cool facts about locations. Pick up from the airport, drop them off at a hotel, drive them around and you don't have to be with them 24/7.
Hey Alex, would you mind if I email you with a couple of questions, as a bloke in a similar place in life. I'd love to get your perspective. Best wishes, Ben
Hey Ben, Thanks for reaching out. I do offer 1 on 1 creative/ business/ life consulting calls. I’d love to chat on a call if you’re up for it. Cheers, Alex alexanderayling.as.me/schedule.php

Sounds good! Catch you out there :)
How about Antarctica? Exploring the continent, with DOC (Department of Conservation). They will give you insight as to how how much the environment has changed over the years
I’d happily hop on an expedition
Great to have you guys back with more content 😊 I would be extra insterested by these tips on how to travel with a baby or a toddler 👍 and a place I would love to see more of is Africa 😊 It's such a diverse continent and I would love to see your way of planning a trip in some of the countries out there. My husband is from Algeria and it's a good example of a country that is underestimated 😉
Thank you! Glad to have you back. Lots of content incoming. Late night editing right now. Thanks for your feedback. Stay tuned.
I’m looking forward to the NZ road trip! 👍

Haha. Japan video coming soon. Hopefully no more plumbing problems lol
Welcome back!
Iran, because it is so misjudged and misunderstood. Also Panama because it's my very favourite place anywhere. Don't just stick with the Pacific coast though. Go to the Caribbean, go to Bocas del Toro province, go out to the islands. It's glorious!

Sorry, just a bunch of thoughts....
Welcome back, Eliana's family!❤❤❤❤
Thank you 🙏🏼
Good to see you back Alex! I‘m excited for whatever. Some more Caravan Trips with the fam sound amazing. Nature videos with your voiceovers just works together so that would be fun too.
More to come! Thanks Jonas
Have you considered Te Araroa walk? Would be cool as a series and you can do in segments. Would love to see your perspective
China! Now that there is a 2 week visa-free it's much easier - in addition you can go to Hong Kong for a bit and then come back to China for 2 more weeks! Sooooooo much of the most incredible scenery and sights you have ever seen!

Looking forward to your upcoming NZ road trip videos! X
Coming soon! Thanks Layla
If you can't do Antartica do the Pacific or if it's just one pick Samoa.
Samoa is definitely on the list
NZ has some lovely waterfalls, why not hunt some out?
I've been wanting to visit NZ for years. Now I have three kids and want to just MOVE there. But I'm Native Alaskan and no ties to NZ. Something I'm looking into :)
PS re the homestead, add to the menagerie, get swans & peacocks

Australia because it has multiple different terrain. Is the correct word geological region?. Australia has it all
Did u get to see your brother?. Do u miss traveling with him?. Will u be posting on your old channel?.

Oh landscaping sounds fab..are you going to do mainly natives or exotics ?
It's not a single destination, but most of the major places are pretty well covered, well everywhere is I suppose these days. I'd be interested in central & eastern Europe: what was the old Austro-Hungarian Empire - Czechia, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary etc & also east into Poland
Great feedback. I’ve traveled extensively through that area on a train trip a while back. Absolutely loved it
Brazil Argentina & Peru cuz I know that your content is outstanding & u cover everything A-Z!! However, I think you’ve been to these Going 9-12/9/30
Have you thought about being a tour guide to small groups like 6 max. charge a premium, drive them around in a van. Plenty of retired people would pay!!!!!!!!!!
