Nice haul. I also just picked up all of To your Eternity. Just waiting on the last 2 vols I had on order to get here. I also ordered all of Hells Paradise except 2 and 3 which I can't find. It sucks because I need to wait to read it now. B&N says they will be in stock next month. I grabbed Mashle as well and read it all on the SJ app. Your right It is really funny and I already pre-ordered vol 2.

I'm starting my manga collection mainly getting manga in Japanese from Kinokuniya in San Francisco, CA in Japan Town. Slowly getting volumes of Kimetsu no Yaiba and Jujutsu Kaisen and Yaoi manga (which is what I think I have the most of so far). I also have two volumes of Bleach. I have others light novels that I bought from Book off in Japan back in 2017 (in Japanese of course) I have a bunch of random volumes of manga that I got my local anime Convention SacAnime (in Japanese) from the same series. I also got random volumes from the manga cafe at Anime Expo in 2017 as well (in Japanese) some two were first volumes most seem to be out of order.

That was a really awesome run I have yet to feel what cheap manga are like Im not near any good shops here and the Half Price books sells garbage total waste of time. I’m still in the hunt for Slam Dunk I hate basketball but know the series is fantastic it just suffers from scalpers and stubborn hold out volumes I tried unsuccessfully to get it for $400 lol time is money and sometimes it’s better not to have to wait or look places in vain.

You should collect at least the first 10 volumes of yowamushi because the early volumes are slowly going OOP like volume 3 and 10 with volume 3 going for 100-200.

Just a warning, but the first 7 or so volumes of reborn are a comedy manga. It then becomes the action shonen that made it famous. Kind of like early dragon ball.

I recently bought almost the entire set of Air Gear for 450$ (I know I paid a mad premium) but that series had so many volumes OOP so I figured I might as well bite the bullet.

What is your take on damaged manga coming in the mail? Small idents, scratches, maybe some weird indents inside the book itself. My OCD makes this really hard for me to accept and keep collecting manga… I’m interested in your opinion on this subject! Thanks!
For me it really depends. If it's a newer release I do want them to be in really good condition. But, if it's an older series that is no longer being printed then I am a lot less picky! So, I guess for me it really depends on the title :)

Yes! I guess it all really depends on what genre you like. But, I think some good ones to start out on would be Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note, and Monster :)
